Buon Sapore — Restaurant in Woodbury

Was really looking forward to this place after reading reviews. Tried there tonight. Got a Pizza Turnover. It was ready in 10 minutes. Got home, and carefully bit into it expecting to get scalded by the cheese like with any other fresh made pizza turnover. Instead, I got a lukewarm interior with cheese that was room temperature. So this is either a pre-made and reheated Pizza Turnover. Or their Pizza Oven temp is enough to fully brown the exterior, but not fully heat the interior. Either way, wouldn't have again. Only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the nuggets there are good according to someone who...

Then the longer delivery times started which is no biggie but today I ordered 2 pizzas and they are both burnt to a crisp on the bottom. The margarita pizza definitely leaves something to be desired. The canolli I ordered ... FORGET ABOUT IT! The filling was super, super sweet and very gritty. One bite was way more than enough for me. Really disappointed with this order as I have had decent food in the past but they definitely missed the mark this time.

Purchased a Large Cheese Pizza, Chicken Fajita Empanada, and a Tossed Salad. The salad was delicious. The pizza was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio. The empanada was very tasty, in my opinion a little light on filling but I have only had one from here so the sampling size is small.

The employee I dealt with was very friendly. The food was made quickly and was ready a little earlier than expected.

Overall I am satisfied with Buon Sapore and WILL be ordering...
