My family usually loves this place and the other Randy's location as well. Last night was a Monday night so slow but 3 waitresses leaning on the counter sipping their Starbucks cold brew, another clear glass of red liquid, and a loves gallon jug all placed on service counter when coming to tables. Soon entire staff were standing leaning on counter complaining about how their schedule and management were the 2 hosts were cleaning tables and not apart of it. Then what appeared to be a manager told them that a birthday party was coming the one waitresses yelled they should have called! He said they did and showed the paper to her and then she stated they shouldn't come! Then manager went to cook staff an told about the party, while waitresses in front started complaining about people not there tables asking for food and water, waitresses stated they told the man not my table. All and all my food wasn't horrible but not great and the service while she was talking to us was respectful. I love Randy's but never will return to this location as I maybe the next victim of the nasty stories they were talking about behind the counter. FYI I was seated by the window so for me to hear each word you know that...
Read moreWent to try Randy's for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. It's a perfect place for anyone who struggles with sensory overload.
I really enjoyed the quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Everything was very clean and nice quality. I don't go to sit down restaurants often but this one was a true joy. The tables weren't sticky, like you'd expect at most restaurants, the bathroom door wasn't overly heavy to push to get in and out. Waitresses were very kind and patient and so were fellow customers who were dining at the same time. I also appreciated that there was no music playing. Usually I don't mind if there's music in the background but most restaurants have the music at very loud volumes and make it difficult to have conversation.
As for the food, it was very delicious, wasn't overly greasy, and was very obviously fresh. Even desert was a pristine treat. We also didn't have to wait long for our food. Prices were very reasonable as well.
10/10 would come again....
Read moreRandy's Diner Too in West Fargo is a gem for anyone craving classic, homemade comfort food in a laid-back setting. The diner is spotless, and the casual vibe makes it a welcoming spot for locals and travelers alike. Service was incredibly quick—just a few minutes to get seated and have my order taken.
I opted for the daily special, which was their homemade twist on a KFC-style famous bowl. If you’re unfamiliar, a KFC Famous Bowl combines layers of creamy mashed potatoes, sweet corn, crispy fried chicken bites, rich gravy, and melty shredded cheese. Randy's nailed their version! Every bite was fresh and homemade, from the fluffy mashed potatoes to the crunchy chicken and flavorful gravy. It arrived piping hot after a short 10-minute wait, and the quality was outstanding for the price.
This diner is definitely making its way onto my list of Fargo favorites. If you’re looking for quick service, great value, and delicious comfort food, Randy’s Diner Too should be...
