Updated review 4/20/24: I will NEVER order from here again! Had the absolute worst experience from here today. I placed the same order I’ve been getting over the last year for various parties we’ve had. I’ve recommended this place numerous times to friends and family. My husband went to pick it up today and there was apparently some confusion because someone took the order wrong over the phone. They said they’d fix it. Well he brought it home and it was nothing like what I ordered, so I called. They had me speak to either the owner/manager. I told him what I received isn’t what I ordered. I ordered a chicken cutlet hoagie tray, with mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and balsamic. What I received was chicken cutlets, sweet green peppers, and shredded melted mozzarella that looked like it was pieced together. The owner told me “well what’s the issue? It’s a good sandwich, just eat it!” Excuse me?? This isn’t what I paid for and isn’t what I ordered. He then told me they were busy all day and it’s a lot of work to make these sandwiches and they did it as a favor because it’s not a menu item, so I should consider what I got a “blessing” that I even got that. I told him if it was such a problem, they shouldn’t have accepted the order in the first place. I then said my kids won’t eat green peppers, and he said he didn’t put green peppers on it. I told him I was looking at green peppers all over the sandwich and he responded “well maybe we added some sweet green peppers to it, so what??”. Then he told me I should have been charged more for it, even though I’ve paid the same price for it for the last year, and it was even confirmed when I placed the order on the phone a few days ago. He told me if I really wanted to, I could come back and get another tray, but that he wouldn’t be able to refund me because again “it was a good sandwich and I should just eat it”. My husband went back to get the correct order, brought it home in a rush since at this point our party had started almost 2 hours prior, and again it still wasn't right! This time, the order had green and yellow peppers on it! I’m so friggin livid. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company because what I received (twice) was not what I ordered and he refused to refund it! Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere. It’s absolutely not worth the aggravation. We had an issue last time we ordered as well as apparently whoever took the order on the phone must have lost it so they had record of it, but at least they made it right and delivered it to our house last time. I decided to give them another chance this time since the food is usually worth it but absolutely never again after this time! The manager/owner should have admitted his mistake and apologized, not tell a paying customer to “just eat it”.

Original review: First time here.. placed a catering order after they came recommended by many people. We just moved from NY and were looking for something very specific, that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I called and the person I spoke with said he could most definitely make it, so we ordered a tray of chicken cutlet heros/hoagies with roasted red peppers, mozzarella and balsamic. It was really GOOD!! I was most worried about the bread since I’m used to fresh semolina, but it ended up being very good and fresh! My family who was in town from NY also really enjoyed it, so that’s saying a lot! When I was walking around the store it was a nice treat to see some fresh Italian cookies, so I grabbed a few of those as well! Can’t wait to try other items from here, we will definitely be back!
