Michi Sushi cafe — Restaurant in West Goshen Township

Michi sushi cafe is a hidden gem in west chester. Located right next to acme, I usually find myself ordering take out from this restaurant during lunch. They usually have the most amazing deals while still being good quality food! I hope they never change their great deals. This time though I decided to come in for lunch and try something new!

Our waitress was very nice and got our waters very fast.

Our food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken curry with white rice bento box lunch special. It comes with tempura vegetables, shumai, and a four piece California roll. The tempura vegetables were fried perfectly. The shumai was equally crispy and was one of my favorites! The California roll nicely balanced out the heavily fried aspect of the box. You can really tell how good a restaurant is by their rice and the rice was cooked perfectly!

As for the chicken curry, I think I may have misinterpreted what I was going to get. The chicken was more on the boiled side of things, which is not my favorite. I had to set the chicken to the side. The sautéed vegetables however made up for that! Mildly spicy curry sauce, which was more of a clear sauce with some speckled seasonings. I personally would not order it with chicken. Maybe I’ll try it with shrimp or just stick with the vegetables instead.

The fantastic roll was absolutely delicious! As well as the spicy crab roll. Their sushi rolls are always addicting! I would always find myself ordering their signature eagle roll because of how unique the roll is. The roll is fried with cream cheese center! The eagle roll plays well on your palate with all of the different textures and flavors.

I will always recommend Michi! Can not wait to...

I have been a patron of this restaurant for the last 4 years. They have always been fantastic, and have only improved the already excellent experience of their customers during this time.

Myself and my many friends have always enjoyed our experience here. The staff are all respectful, polite, and friendly. The service is quick, and professionally executed.

This is definitely one of the best local sushi spots. Friends of mine have hosted birthday parties at this location, and the staff were even kind enough to bring the cake out as a surprise. These days there are not many restaurants out there that are dedicated to their craft for the sake of your dining experience. Michi however- is a reputable establishment where I know they are truly dedicated to bringing you wonderful food, service, and overall local dining experience.

Stopped here for dinner with my parents on 4/7/23. We were welcomed by a nice young woman who brought us to our table. We then were met with our server who was absolutely amazing, the daughter of the owners of Michi Sushi as I been a loyal customer since 2012 when this awesome establishment opened. Now to the food, it's absolutely wonderful every time. We started off with crab rangoons as an starter, then the three of us ordered Dinner Boxes, my mother had chicken w/ garlic sauce, she raved how delicious her meal was, my father had chicken satay, he was very happy with his and I had General Tso's chicken extra spicy, the best ever! All three of us had fried rice with our boxes. We all enjoyed our dinner. The lovely family who runs this establishment are truly special, professional and so pleasant.
