Absolutely horrible. Bad enough for me to leave a review which I don't do. But for Wendy's sake I will. Total side show in there. Grew up in West Chester so I stopped in. While I was in there 5 people walked out, one got in a fight with the person at the counter and he was totally in the right I might add. His order said ready on the screen so he walked up to get it and the lady started chewing him out. Pissed him off justifiably after he was patiently waiting for 15 minutes. Then manager kicked him out and threatened to call police. That's laughable as his staff started it. Other Lady at counter was frustrated and yelling at people and I then watched them walk out. They threw this poor kid at the register who told me it was his first hour in there. Left him alone to fend for himself on the register which he was trying to do, right on little brother!! In fact give him a raise as he was the only one I saw who gave a dam and was cool. He was trying to put out all the other fires in there. Dropped him in the fire and he was dealing with it. While waiting a half hour for food two people who came in after me got theirs while me and three others were looking at each other wondering if our order or ticket got lost. No napkins anywhere in store and to make matters worse food was cold. Don't really care too much as I'm not a complainer and all the chaos was entertaining. But, if Wendy's doesn't want to become a ghost town they had better do something and quick. All this happened in 30 minutes to get a ham burger and fries. Been going to Wendy's for decades here and there and alot of them are becoming just like this one. Dam shame cause Wendy's always had...
Read moreI'll start by saying that my expectations were incredibly low coming to this Wendy's due to the 1.5 Yelp rating and Google reviews talking about food poising and hair in the food. So when my friend and I arrived at the drive through, it was quite endearing to get exactly what I was expecting. As I began to talk to the person through the drive through speaker, I could tell that things inside were chaotic. I repeated my order several times to make sure I was heard correctly, then pulled up to the window to get my food. It was verified; things were chaotic in the kitchen. As I pulled away from the drive through window I decided to check and make sure my order was right. I had ordered maple bacon chicken and sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. I received two bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Instead of frustration, the situation felt more endearing than anything. So, I decided to pull around and try again.
I explained to them that my order was incorrect, and was told they would get me a new one free of charge which was nice. As they were preparing it for me, the lady at the window frantically spoke into her headset, then said out loud "Ugh, they're making the wrong thing again." My friend (who was in the car in front of me) told me the same lady said "My people don't know how to work." They finally gave me the correct order, and I was on my way to breakfast on my porch with my friend.
This review probably warrants a 1 or 2 star rating, but I'm giving it a 4 for posterity's sake. It was like going to watch a bad movie knowing it was going to be bad and the poor quality actually making it...
Read moreI was at the restaurant today trying to get food and I was very concerned on what I observed. A black male Manager named Rodney was very verbally abusive towards one of the employees. The name that I could hear was Miles. The manager was very disrespectful towards him. It was demeaning, and I couldn’t understand why. He made a comment that was highly inappropriate towards this young man trying to do his job. He said he was never going to be anything which I found deplorable.
How that manager was talking to that young man named Miles was really unbelievable. Like what kind of organization talks to their people like that??! He needs some kind of training on how to be an Effective manager and how to talk to people. Maybe his father talk to him that way, which is the reason why he works at Wendy’s being so old. As a customer, it made me very uncomfortable.
I run a business. If I ever saw anybody, I supervise speaking to anybody that way, including an employee who is doing his best, I would fire them on the spot. And him yelling was Totally unprofessional.
What was especially shocking is That the manager told the young man Miles that every time he worked that he was going to send him home every shift. Hopefully that young man gets in contact with the equal opportunity, employment agency and filed a complaint for harassment and intimidation because it was that bad.
Unless something is done about this manager, doubtful if I ever visit this...
