Nibbles n' Noms — Restaurant in West Hartford

This truck was parked at an evening event in Danbury CT at the Sugar Hollow Taproom (which doesn't serve food). OMG it was amazing! They served several types of tacos (Korean BBQ, Steak, or Tofu). And they also had "nibbles" as the name suggests: their deep fried guacamole balls and onion rings were delicious. They even had something for sweet tooths (churros).

"Married Kate and Ashley" were the co-owners and operators, and they were terrific vendors. Purchasing and waiting for the food to be prepared, they acted more like hosts themselves, and were energetic and funny. I spent far longer than just getting my tacos chatting with them.

My fiancée and I went to Alvarium brewing where they had Nibbles N Noms. The staff was incredibly welcoming and joked with us. When curious about the spice sauce they use, they offered for us to try without us asking. We ordered the sampler, food came out quick and was nothing short of amazing. After she overheard that I’ve had tofu before and didn’t like it at all, they made little tofu taco samples and brought them to our table and it was phenomenal. We highly recommend this food truck! OMG OMG OMG!!! Where do I start? I was a little skeptical about the tofu taco, and couldn't decide between the beef or chicken, when lo and behold they had the sampler plate. One of each taco. Don't let the tofu taco scare you away. OMG these girls are fabulous when it comes to mixing and matching spices, herbs and toppings! The tofu is marinated to perfection, you don't even know you're eating tofu. Congratulations Ashley and Kate!!! You two are definitely onto something different and delicious.
