VERY BAD SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Waitress were literally lecturing us how we should put in order for her convenience. Ordered a take out and called in wanted to ask them if we can add an egg on the side. And her response was “we can’t just add an egg for free”. Well, no one said we are not paying… But this waitress giving me a feeling that we want to take advantage of her or something. The order arrived missing the extra noodles that we originally order. Called in, waitress lied that she putted the extra noodles in the package and starting to lecturing me how we should be more clear on the order so it’s clear to her we want extra noodles. But who’s the customer here? Why don’t u lecturing me on how to make a noodle pot, which might be more helpful. And if the waitress indeed put the extra noodles there why is she asking us to make the order more clear? 🤯 Again, Who is the CUSTOMER?
Update/Response to Owner: After you read through owner‘s response, how do you all feel? I didn't say the food was not good, I pointed out that It was a really bad service experience as the waitress was very rude and we felt like we are look down upon. I'm expressing my feeling, isn't it what review is all about?
It seems like the Owner Ron is trying to say what he thinks is the fact, but actually are all lies. When did I threaten staff? I told her I will write up a review, and here I am. Is that the threat you were talking about? This review system was meant to provide feedbacks and express our experience. But I'm being accused threatening staff? Do you have any idea about your accusation and how heavy that is, especially when it's based on lies?
You did not address the issue with the extra noodles, we called twice, first time is right after we submitted the order asking about the egg. We felt how rude the waitress was, but did we say anything? We didn't. And later we called the second time when we notice the extra noodles were missing and the waitress started to lecturing us and that's when everything started. But in your response you didn't even mention this part, why? You know your wrongdoings? Instead, you made some very serious accusation about me.
I've been posted 5 reviews so far on the Google, 4 of them are all 5 stars. I don't want to start anything unless the experience is REALLY REALLY BAD. Like what you wrote, please agree that I'm a human and for you to accuse me like that is not acceptable. And plus, were you there, when I called? Or you just listened to whatever the waitress told you and take that as granted?
With all being said, I will be seeking legal protection for myself and my reputation. I've taken a screen shot of your post. I will see you in court! And pls note that people have the right under the First Amendment to express their intention to pursue litigation, so pls don't take this as a threatening.
Last but not least. I've looked through a few reviews for the past year. And this is what I found: Natelie wrote: "The only reason it's 4/5 starts is because the waitress/cashier lady was so rude and standoffish. She was on her phone when we walked in, didn't bother looking up.... She ended up sighing and yelling at me because I asked her to repeat her words. I felt like such an inconvenience to her even though I was a customer" Loida wrote: "Unfortunately the last times I visited with my husband the server and cashier was a woman and she was really serious, standoffish and not very helpful. This might stop us form eating there again. I needed a fork and asked her to please bring me one. She forgot so after waiting I nicely reminded her. After I reminded her, she decided to take care of a couple that had just walked in instead of grabbing my fork first." J. Dorali wrote: "The food was fantastic. As per other reviews, the waitress attitude was a bit curt." Matthew wrote: "I gotta say the service was alarmingly bad..... it might be a good idea to work on that so as not to drive away potential customers."
These feedbacks are not just coming from me, Rod. You should really...
Read moreThis is my favorite noodle place! Always my go to since the food is delicious! I usually order through Uber Eats AT LEAST once a week! I don’t eat pork and when I ordered on Uber Eats I put in a note to not add pork. The first time I did this, they added pork anyway. This meant that I could not eat the food I paid for. So now I usually call the restaurant after placing an order to remind them not to include pork. However when I recently called, the lady on the phone was speaking in a rude manner and seemed annoyed that I called since she sees the note in the order. I also put a note in the order saying to provide 2 chilli oils. So then the lady told me that chilli oil is an extra cost and what she should do. Mind you, I’ve never been asked to pay extra for it before but I’m happy to as long as it’s an option. What was the point of saying that when I obviously can’t pay extra since I ordered through Uber Eats. I let them know that they should list chili oil as a paid add on and I’d be more than happy to pay for it next time. I am an extremely loyal and frequent patron of this restaurant and it feels weird to be put in that awkward situation and made to feel bad over a reminder phone call and 2 chili oils. Is it really worth it? Im used to rude people picking up the phone at an average take out joint but I expect more from Nummy. I would suggest a training course on telephone etiquette. I’m still giving 4 stars since the Indian man who works there is GREAT with customer service and always really friendly and the food...
Read moreWe drove up to the area for the day to go to Westfarms Mall, and ended up staying into the evening for dinner. Checked the local reviews and picked Nummy based on their reasonable prices and some awesome looking dishes.
Girlfriend and I started off with pork buns & pork gyoza and immediately realized that this place we stumbled upon was actually a sacred gift to our tastebuds from the heavens. Everything was steaming fresh and packed with flavor; we were left considering if we should order another round before our main dishes arrived, but voted in favor of making room.
When our twin orders of Nummy noodles arrived, I literally felt like I was face to face with the fabled "anime food" I had seen in various Manga & TV shows. It was absolutely beautiful. I shed a single manly tear down my cheek and dove into my bowl.
Words cannot describe what followed - you just need to try it for yourself. All I can remember at this point is a kind man surrounded by a golden aura named Ron, a lot of delicious food, and two green tea "mochis" that were promptly devoured with glee.
No excuses. Come here and order everything. Look for the man with the golden aura. Eat the green things. No regrets. Nummy.
(Thanks Ron, we...
