Dunkin' — Restaurant in West Haven

A friend of mine and I had decided on a whim last night to go to DD this morning. I happened to notice on the DD app that today 9/29 is national coffee day and I was entitled to a medium iced or hot coffee. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte because it was my first time getting pumpkin spice this season. Anyway, I used the app but the price didn't show the free coffee. I questioned why I had to pay $4.29. My cashier was very nice, but when I asked for the manager to get a refund and after we figured out why the free coffee didn't come off my price, (supposedly no mgr on site. Really? Only employees open the store and open the safe to get cash registers ready to open drive thru & inside?? That doesn't make sense) another employee with fading pink dyed hair came over and told me that there were other customers forming behind me and they couldn't give me refund. Hello. I AM A CUSTOMER ALSO AND MY ORDER AND PRICE OF ORDER WASN'T CORRECT !! I called 800# right away and got the situation documented and gave bad review...

I have NEVER been more upset or frustrated. These people are all dressed however and suck there teeth when you mention that the order is wrong and cups not marked. I've stopped going there as the Manage recently screamed at me and said I should go thru drive thru as I'm always a problem. Turns out it's there franchises practice to give regular coffee with a turbo shot when Dark roast is ordered. As it seems to not make them happy when I watch and complain when they do it. I wish I would have never got used to 3 cups a day as now I travel long distances fewer and fewer times as I think this may be practice at The Brand a level. No one seems to care that dark roast and decaf customers are treated this way. I'm disgusted at how these people have forgot that the coffee is not there's but the company's. And it's to be fresh and served with a smile. Not attitude. I threatened to do the online survey and complain and was told by the manger there next to Dairy Queen to go ahead because his boss...

Well 6:52am and I'm beyond pissed waiting for my HURT wife to get home.... If there's a time for the lobby to be open then the outside should be more than safe to walk to the entrance inside, if it snowed out should be shoveled and salted and if the snow was from the night before it has enough ice for someone to slip and get hurt and sadly that's what happened this morning when my wife went to get a hot chocolate.... What pisses me more off is that when I worked for DD i made sure from the sidewalk to the doorway was clean and extra salted enough to walk on and made sure the floor inside was dry and had the floor mat plus made sure it was safe to get inside the store and to the counter.... But we are not going to stay with our arms crossed and do nothing cause this could have been an elderly person or a mother with children SMH I can't explain my pain or...
