Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in West Jordan

Worst store in the state. Dumbest employees. Bunch of mindless teenagers who can’t read basic instructions. They don’t offer vegetarian options although their menu says different. Asking those dumb kids to take one item off of something. Is the equivalent to asking them to build a rocket. I’ve came to this store a dozen times. Just to waste my money. I enjoy beans and brews. But this one is the worst in the state. It’s disgusting dirty the kids vape and flirt inside. They’ll have friends over and let customers just sit. And if those kids have more than three orders forget about it by our sitting 29 minutes for a melted coffee and incorrect order. and don’t even bother asking for an ingredient to be removed the mindless teens don’t work they’re flirting with one another and can’t comprehend or understand basically how to do their job of taking and making orders. It’s clearly just too hard for them. So if you have diet restrictions and wanna end up in the hospital go to this worthless store with their incompetent teenage employees. I’m addition they upcharge. I’ve made notes and did the math on my orders. The kids add random amount to the order so you have to give cash in several ones and change - and I’m sure they’re pocketing those extra dollars and hiding them off as “tips” in the time I sat and waited for the opportunity to waste my money at this store. I learned all about the little girls and their boyfriends and exes and how one of them recently got dumped. It’s literally just a building where a bunch of mean incompetent rude teenagers gather around and gossip while also getting to @work@ and take others money. And substantial amounts of your time. The drive thru traps you in once you’re in. So if you ordered but the teenagers aren’t done telling their stories. Checking their phones. Laughing a or divvying up their illegal tips. You’ll have enough time to watch a whole episode of something and finally make it to the window. But by the your at the window. They have 2 cars ahead of you that we’re also at the window. Who still haven’t received their order. My brother worked at the south Jordan and herriman locations for over 5 years and he was shocked by the employees behaviors the wya the store ran treated it’s customers and the fact compared to his other stores. The quality of the food and drink was equal if not worse from the coffees you can get at the grocery store and the frozen off brand breakfast sandwiches. Which by the way after paying 60 for essentially an Arnold Palmer we went to the Walmart and bought frozen breakfast sandwiches and a pack of cold brew....

Please know your own recipe before you make drinks. I have been to this location before and have ordered the same drink, the frozen Macha, with 2 extra shots of espresso. When they gave it to me, I questioned her because it looked lighter in color than normal. She said the drink I ordered doesn't come with coffee in it, and the only coffee in it was the extra I paid for. Every time I ordered it before, it had coffee in it, and when I looked it up, the 2nd ingredient was coffee. This was the shift lead, not some new inexperienced person. The few weeks prior, I asked for my receipt to get points as the app was not working for me for a few days. The person at the window did not give me my my receipt, and I completely forgot to ask for it again. A few days later, during double points day, I did the same, I asked for my receipt this time, and I got one, but it was for someone else's order that already got the points for it. So I'm out about 4 drinks worth of points as the second day I ordered 3 drinks.

EDIT response to automated response: No one from your company has responded or reached out. My problem is still apparent as I still have not received my points from the earlier problems. Also, my coffee was still wrong, so obviously, nothing was fixed. Don't have automated responses without someone actually...

I would walk 500 miles… well, maybe not 500. But I did walk 3 for this Beans and Brews location. This is our usual place, but only now have I taken the time to write a proper review. Sorry for the delay, Beans and Brews! We’re down to one car in my household and it was worth it to WALK to this location today. There are closer places to get coffee if you’re on foot coming from my neighborhood, but they simply aren’t worth it like this B and B is. It was actually a pleasure to walk PAST the neighboring Starbucks to reach this place because screw those guys!

Beans and Brews on 7800 south was clearly busy when I walked in the door. But we were still greeted and taken care of like we were the only ones there. Joshua and Jessica made a great team, working behind the counter to get me my delicious coffee treat and sammich. Outstanding work, both of you! If your leadership is reading this, I hope they take it to heart.
