I was ecstatic when this location opened as it's fairly close to where I live. We have ordered online and in person probably 7-10 times since they opened earlier this year. EVERY SINGLE TIME our order has been wrong. They are missing the sides, put the wrong bagel in the bag, missing extra pastries, forgetting the coffee... You will absolutely need to double check your order at this location before leaving the store!!!!! They are nice about it and will sometimes give a bogo card, but it's still really frustrating. Like... read the receipts, especially for combo items with sides, and double check that you packed EVERYTHING ordered into the bag. Other locations aren't a problem. Just this one.
The bigger issue for this bad review is the most recent visit on October 15. I placed an order on the app, and an error popped up saying the order wasn't completed, so I placed a second order that did go through just fine. I double checked my bank account and noticed there were two pending charges. When I picked up my order (which was missing the lunch side items, of course), I asked if they could look into that double charge. Since my bank had them still pending, I was told that only one of the charges would go through, not both.
Both charges ended up going through my account and when I called Einsteins later, they told me I had to submit a request online. I have submitted an online request 7 business days ago and another one this morning. I have yet to hear back from their corporate account. (Side note, they require that you put in your store location when submitting an online request and this location isn't even on the drop down bar, but it's been open for 6+ months... can you get your web guys on this?)
I love the food, and have never had a problem at any of the other dozens of locations I have frequented in the past 15 years across multiple states. I'm just really bummed out at how inefficient and unprofessional this particular location has been. Hopefully this honest, fair and thorough review will get someone's attention and they will finally make it right and refund me this ridiculous double charge. I also hope that they can start enforcing a better system for when they are packing up orders, especially their online orders, and stop forgetting the chips...
   Read moreI have to write a review after what I witnessed last week. I came to pick up bagels for my team at work for doing a great job. I ordered with a young lady and everything was fine and she told me to get the four spreads that came with the 24 bagels. She later brought me two boxes of bagels and I had containers of spread. My car was parked out front, but I wasnât able to carry everything out and there were other people waiting in line. There were three younger people that seemed to be teenagers or college student students working. One was doing the cashier and two of them were working as hard as I could they get the orders done. On the side, where the shelving is, I noticed that there was a worker who was a middle-aged woman with black hair and she was talking very low in Spanish to another gentleman almost like they were gossiping. I didnât pay too much attention to their conversation, but I asked her in Spanish if she could help me twice and she ignored me completely. Finally, I had to leave my food and go up to her in English and ask her if she could either lend me a hand in my car or just give me a bigger bag to put everything in she seemed extremely annoyed that I had interrupted her conversation. Then she started to yell at the cashier saying that she wasnât doing her job and that she shouldâve given me a bag and came over very aggressively to my two boxes and started shoving the spread in there. She told me that it was pretty obvious that they went in there and I had no clue. This was my first time ever getting bagels and it was right next to our office. Honestly, the food was fine. I had no problems. Iâm just surprised that a supervisor or a manager would speak like that to their staff. Let alone a customer that bought 2 dozen bagels and just was asking for help. Thereâs nothing that she was doing that she couldnât just lend a hand. The man that she was talking to wasnât a customer from the looks of it, he was just standing there to the side with no food near him. Iâve done a pick up order a couple times a month for just a single bagel with shmear since it opened, and the experience seems to be getting worse as time goes on. More often than not my bagel isnât toasted. Today when I went in they didnât have an iced coffee ready with my pick up order, so I went to the counter to ask for one. The person at the counter filled a cup with ice and then filled the cup with hot coffee from the self-service coffee area. Obviously this ended up with the ice melting immediately and the coffee being watered down and not appetizing at all. I would have them rather just told me there wasnât any iced coffee ready.
