Del Taco — Restaurant in West Jordan

When we went there It was 11:30. Nobody was inside eating. There wasn't a register open at the counter so we were in competition with the drive through, as that cashier came to the counter to take our order. I wanted a wet burrito plato...I have never been here before and couldn't see the wet burrito anywhere on the menu except as a Plato so I simply ordered a wet burrito...expecting to get what I saw in the menu. Instead I got simply the wet burrito...no Plato. When I was confused and questioned them I was told that I didn't order the plate. Then in a flurry of Spanish (I think the guy who took our order was the only one who spoke English) they walked away. I needed a fork and there weren't any on my side of the counter so I approached the counter again. I waited and waited. Finally they brought me beans and rice...I guess they figured that's what I was waiting for...and I asked them for a fork. Well...after that delightful beginning the food want all that good either. I was expecting something like what I had been craving (from a small restaurant back home) but it wasn't good at all. They put a enchilada sauce on the beans. Eww! And the rice had a lime flavor to it. Not faint. Very strong. Yuck! And my wet burrito had this green chili sauce on it that was congealed...like it was sitting out for a long time and got cold. Anyway...either way...both my husband and I were not happy with either the service or the food. Oh! They have signs hanging up about what they are doing to make it a wonderful experience...taking and calling your name because you are not a number (we were number 39) and putting the date the produce was picked on a chalk board so you can see...I finally found the teeny tiny chalk board and read the date of 1/5/19 from somewhere in California but they didn't put what produce was picked. Anyway...less than happy with Del Taco. I might try the food again but it will never be from this restaurant again. I hope you have...

Terrible graveyard shift. Keep in mind this isn't the first time this has happend . On 6/23/24 at 12:25am I went to deltaco for some food for me and my wife . I ordered 4 chicken soft tacos 2 with no cheese !!!! My wife is allergic to cheese . and 2 ranch crispy chicken tacos . After getting our food I looked at the tacos I looked at them and all 4 had cheese. I went back through the drive thru and the lady asked for the bag of food . She then proceeded to look at all the Individual tacos with out gloves right next to the drive thru . I've worked at deltaco for 3 years and 1st things 1st customer is always right. You never ask the customer for the food back and second of all you never touch the food unless you have gloves on. This is terrible customer service and coming from somone who's worked at deltaco for 3 years this is down right terrible customer service. The customer is always right regardless!!!! And she gave me no receipt and I didn't leave deltaco till 12:45am I was there for 20 minutes with less then 3 cars . This deltaco needs New graveyard people or they need to be retrained cause they did terrible . Will not be returning to this...

The food was good. Tried their new offer the birria burrito was surprised how good it was.

I had been coming to this location for a while now out of convenience on the route home. Service has been either good or bad on occasion it's good the employee is in a good mood and polite and professional. Other times it's been bad where the attendant is casual and more involved in their chatter than attending the customer and treated me formally instead by using the word "dude" for example. What made this trip rather unfortunate and lowered my opinion of this location was I ordered a combo got my food and then I was missing my drink. When I noticed I turned around and went back..that's where the issue came up that I went to ask for my drink I paid for and they denied that I ordered one and were very unprofessional about the whole interaction. It was not till I stated and showed the receipt they took me seriously but still seemed like they were laughing at my mistake when clearly it's on them for missing to give my drink in the first place because they were more involved in their conversation. With that said.

I will stop dropping by this location...
