We usually have a good experience here but tonight was definitely not that! We ordered our concrete choices and went to sit down…. All the tables were dirty. I went up to get a rag to wash the table and a gal came out and did it. We had to finish the job… she left pieces of food on the table still. Maybe she was in a rush but…… then we got our concrete…. My husbands was sooo soupy and so disgustingly sweet that it wasn’t edible. We said something to the gal that brought out the cone that came way after the concretes. He had eaten about a 1/4 of it and just couldn’t keep eating it. Her response was, “sorry we have a lot of new people back there”. 😳. He asked if they could make a new one she came back to the table and said “the manager said we can make a new one but you have to pay for it because you have eaten so much of it! We had bragged to his mom about how good this place was and had to take her there for the frozen custard while she was visiting Utah. We told her about the old fashioned diner vibe with oldies music but the custard machines were so loud we couldn’t hear the music🙁 She was unimpressed to say the least. We go to the Nelson’s in Millcreek regularly and LOVE it. Super nice staff, always a great experience. Decided to try this location (7617 S. Nielsens Park Ln, West Jordan) and will not be returning. The menu isn’t clear on size portions and there’s no option for cups + 1-3 scoops. When I inquired they didn’t answer my question, only told me the price of a small concrete and the speaker was so loud at the drive through you couldn’t hardly make out the words being spoken, and it hurt your ears. Also. What ice cream shop doesn’t have sprinkles? All we wanted was vanilla with strawberries and sprinkles. Super disappointing. We let the cashier at the window know of the speaker problem, she ignored short of “oh”. I followed it up with, I omit you might not be the one to fix it, but maybe pass the word on. She ignored me, mentioned the total & then took my payment. We then waited 5+ minutes for 2 small ice creams. Over all...
