Starbucks — Restaurant in West Linn

I had a particularly unpleasant interaction today and it will likely keep me from visiting this location again. The barista taking my order was mixed up on how making frappuccinos decaf works since they changed it and kept saying that caramel frappuccinos don't come with shots of espresso and didn't get when I explained that when they make them decaf now since they changed them, they substitute decaf shots for the caffeinated pumps of frappuccino roast, that it's not adding an extra shot. She ended the interaction with an attitude laden "whatever" and then glared at me while complaining about me (loudly enough for me to hear) to her coworker. She'd been arguing with one of the toasting machines as it was beeping before she came over to help me, so I suspect she was having an off day, but the interaction still put quite a damper in the good mood I'd been in and ensured I wouldn't feel comfortable sitting there with my coffee and reading my book as...

This Starbucks is the location of a former bank (Bank of the West), which is the reason for the parking and drive thru layout. They've done a REALLY good job over the years of creating a good interior atmosphere and the employees are always friendly and polite. It's easy enough to walk around the front to enter the building if you're parking on the side or back, and since there's nothing they can do about that layout I'm not holding that against them. The interior is spacious in looks very nice, would have no issues sitting in here drinking coffee and talking with someone. The drive-thru has plenty of space and moves quickly. This is a nice Starbucks location. I've been here plenty of times, and I have no issues...

Came in the morning of Thurs, Nov 10 to pick up an online order. It was 10:45 am and there was no line. The two young ladies behind the counter did not greet me in any fashion. I politely interrupted their chat and inquired about my order. One of the ladies grabbed a ticket and begin to make the order. She returned moments later with my drink and simply laid it on the counter and walked away without saying anything or even looking at me. She then went back to casually chatting with her co-worker. I try to circumvent interaction with these entitled children by ordering through the app. But not even that can override the levels of negligence and apathy from the magnificent staff...
