I cannot leave a rating based on the taste or quality of the food. My rating is based solely on hospitality and speed of service.

I deliver for postmates and recently got an order to deliver from White Orchid restaurant. It was getting late at night almost 10:00 when I arrived at the store. Apparently the order had come in late and the owners were closing for the night. The hostess came to the door to let me know they were closing but instead of turning me away, she took the order and the entire staff, that was ready to go home for the night, dropped their coats and bags and immediately started the kitchen up to fill my order. I can’t be sure but I believe this is a family owned restaurant and I could tell that they take deep pride in the work they do, a rare quality these days. The hostess instructed me to sit and the food would be out shortly. In less than 10 minutes the staff cooked three meals that smelled so good I wish I didn’t have to deliver them to my client! The generosity and patience of this family or crew was remarkable. I will definitely be back with my wife to try the food and I wouldn’t mind driving from Gladstone to do it either.

Went for a lunch with my wife today on recommendation from a friend. Weve always cooked good food at home mostly and find a lot of restaurants mediocre.. However...White Orchid is serving very tasty Thai food - I was impressed so I thought I’d write a review for it. It is a small-ish place and very simple space, but the flavors being created by the kitchen are fantastic. We are fans of nice curries and Thai dishes in general so it is a great find! Right away we had drinks and they brought a small salad with a delicious peanut dressing. We had the appetizer sampler, with handmade dumplings, chicken satay, chicken wonton and nice crispy spring rolls, served with four tasty sauces. For the mains we had the green Thai curry with chicken, which is wonderful...and the Yakisoba with green curry sauce and beef.which perfectly cooked and had delicious flavor with expert use of Basil. We will definitely be back for more! They deliver too for an additional $5 within 5 miles. The five stars is based purely on the great food and service. It’s not a reflection of the atmosphere, which as I said is simple...

White Orchid Thai Cuisine is where the exceptional food is complemented by unparalleled service. My go-to dishes, the Pad See Ew, Yakisoba, and Papaya Salad, were nothing short of sensational. The Pad See Ew, with its wide rice noodles and perfectly balanced soy-based sauce, was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The Yakisoba, a fusion masterpiece marrying Japanese yakisoba with Thai green curry, was an unexpected delight. And the Papaya Salad, a refreshing burst of tropical goodness and a nice spicy kick, perfectly captured the essence of Thai cuisine.

Easily deserving of 5 stars, I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an extraordinary Thai dining experience – it's a gem that leaves you with a heart full of appreciation and a palate satisfied...
