I was very excited to bring some people from out of town to this spot and I been anticipating being that we heard about a great review. We arrived and was surprised that we had the opportunity to valet, which was nice. The casino overall was very nice and the upgrades you can tell that they took time to make it a great look for the West Memphis area. The look of the new Ignite Steakhouse restaurant was very nice and warming. My party and I can agree that the time may was taking to make sure that the atmosphere was nice and not the service and food. I wanted to have so many hopes for the restaurant and was visiting to see how it will be to be a preferred restaurant in the future to bring more guest, but I wasn’t happy with the experience we had over the weekend. We order cocktails and they were very tart. Our waiter wasn’t pleasant and pretty much blame and put everything on the chief and manager when a question or information was asked. When ordering your entrees, we were informed that we can’t change any sides that’s paired with the entrees which we didn’t understand especially if a person have allergies, have other reasons why they can’t eat certain items or just didn’t like them. You couldn’t substitute the items and any additional side was like $7-$8 to add. Once she was able to get one person approved at the table, we waited so long for our food to get it and it be COLD! The crazy thing is that the food was being prepared and you can see them preparing the food. After a time, I did notice that baked potatoes were just sitting in a line already plated with no warmers or anything in the open in the kitchen. Our baked potatoes were so overly cooked (black/burnt look), hard, and cold. The sides were all awful especially the puree spinach. If you ordered a steak, you either received it under or over cooked from what you originally ordered, and nothing was season you basically had to use salt and pepper to eat your food. We didn’t complain because our server seemed to be very agitated with anything that we asked the entire time. As I personally kept asking for a refill that I had to ask multiple times and never received it until after my meal. What I did notice that may would help if they wrote things down. To top off our not so good experience our waitress swiped two couples’ card for the wrong ticket. Once they brought it to her attention, she stated she may have put the card in the wrong place but swiped them for the correct ticket. Both couples looked up the information on their accounts and brought it to her attention again and her response was, “I can SEE if my manager can fix it.” I didn’t understand why she didn’t take charge to be apologetic and let us know that she made a mistake. She never came back with a manager nor took the tickets to “SEE” if she can get it fixed. The couples end up having to pay the difference from the ticket between each other because we were unsure on how and when the matter will be taking care of. Once she finally came back and we told her we worked things out she then tried to say it was hard splitting the ticket in the system (the tickets were already split before them giving their card to her) and trying to explain instead of a simple apology. I don’t know if we will make another attempt to eat here. I cannot express how disappointed I am in my visit here over the weekend and the service and the food was awful. I would love to have high hopes for this restaurant in the future being that we are in...
Read moreAs regular patrons and supporters of Ignite Steakhouse, we've consistently enjoyed top-notch service from Tanya and Kenneth in the bar area. Their expertise, warm welcomes, and attention to detail have always left a positive impression on us.
However, we feel it's important to address a consistent issues that has impacted our dining experiences. Unfortunately, the addition of a new server, Antorian, has resulted in a noticeable decline in the quality of service. Antorian's behavior and attitude have been consistently unpleasant, to say the least.
Throughout our interactions with Antorian, we've encountered numerous instances of disrespect and rudeness. He tends to talk over customers, exudes a snooty demeanor, and even rolls his eyes, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. His lack of attentiveness and biased treatment of certain guests are disappointing and not in line with the welcoming environment we've come to expect.
Since Antorian joined the team, the level of service at the bar has notably diminished and is exceptionally disrespectful. As loyal patrons, we're genuinely concerned about the potential impact on the restaurant's reputation. It's disheartening to admit that our comfort and enjoyment during our visits have been significantly affected by Antorian's attitude.
We strongly urge higher management to address these issues promptly. Ignite Steakhouse has always been a favorite spot for us due to its excellent service and ambiance, and it would be a shame to see its reputation tarnished by one individual's behavior.
It's important to note that Antorian's demeanor is extremely disrespectful, which may lead to conflicts. His unfriendly behavior, unless he personally knows you, is particularly troubling. While we strive to maintain friendly interactions with everyone, our encounters with Antorian leave us feeling uneasy.
While we remain loyal supporters of Ignite Steakhouse, we hope management takes swift action to rectify the situation and ensures that all guests receive the exceptional service they deserve.
Thank you for considering...
Read moreWe were hotel guests and had been in the casino almost all afternoon. We made a reservation at 5pm for a 9:30pm dinner for four people. We arrived at 9:30pm and had to wait 15 minutes for our table even though almost the entire restaurant was empty. I asked for the wine list and picked a bottle, which was actually a solid value. Of course it was out of stock, but they offered a wine that was almost double the cost, but the retail value was less than the bottle I wanted. I declined. Ordered the calamari which was the only thing we enjoyed (although half of it was just fried banana peppers.)
I had some luck at the casino and wanted to treat my friend to splitting the tomahawk steak (that they had proudly displayed in the window while we waited for 15 minutes). I was told by our waitress that the kitchen closes at 10pm and the tomahawk steak would "take too long to cook even if you want it medium rare". I was dumbfounded. If we would have been seated promptly it wouldn't have been an issue. Also if you close at 10pm - don't take 9:30pm reservations. She even went back to the kitchen and the cooks refused to make the tomahawk steak.
We ended up splitting a much smaller steak, a $9 spinach that was probably no more than 2 cups of spinach. The $3 bearnaise sauce was a laughably bad, lumpy mess which had completely split. The caesar salad dressing tasted of pure vinegar and left me longing for Ken's Steakhouse dressing from my local grocery store.
To top it all off - at the end of the meal I sneakily asked the busser to tell our waitress to ring up our bill on my credit card to treat my friends - our waitress promptly ran over to the table and loudly pronounced "DO YOU WANT THE CHECK??" with my card in her hand.
Nothing about this place deserves the title of steakhouse. Save your money and go to the Fry House or the Buffet or just starve instead. They would have to pay me to come back and eat...
