I’m stationed in the area and I googled crab leg buffet near me this place came up. Atmosphere was very cool, modern, some- what fancy, great concepts and ideas, very clean. Service was very good and seemed like they worked as a team operating very efficiently. The star of the show, the crab legs were very disappointing. I tried the crab legs straight from the boiler, I was given a very big serving. I also tried the bag boil that included an egg, ear of corn, sausage and a pile of crab legs. Both types of crab legs that were served were just terrible. To describe them best would be that they were super soggy, mushy, mostly hot with areas of cold even after coming straight from the huge boil pot. And the size of the crab legs were pathetic. For the price I would expect decent sized and quality crab legs and they were not. All other items I tried were good to exceptional across the buffet. Definitely would not come back for the crab legs, maybe just a regular buffet night.

Do not attempt to eat in this place if it is near closing time! No one was seating guests. Servers were saying wait to be seated or seat your self, depending on which server was asked. Not a single staff member offered to provide some silverware; therefore, I had to eat without that luxury or not eat at all. The person on the grill during steak night was mad at the world. It was not a pleasant experience, and the food was mediocre. The steak was not even worth eating. I would much rather eat the ground beef patty at your nearest golden arches restaurant. At least I met some very nice people while in line waiting for a steak; thus, the 4 stars for atmosphere.

Pay the toll & get swoll This restaurant is inside of Southland Casino I went in to try it out. I got the buffet it was $32 and some change. It was a good price for the food. I can’t complain about that. I got the steak fresh off the flame broiler I ordered it medium and it was perfectly cooked seasoned with good flavor. It was a thick, juicy ribeye and I enjoyed every bite. I got a pice of fried chicken it was nice and crispy juicy and seasoned. Now the baked chicken was a little surprising it had a wonderful flavor it reminded me of jerk chicken. I would definitely go back just for the steak it was something special.

It can be really disappointing when customer service falls short, especially when you’ve had positive experiences in the past.

I’ve been a regular customer at Southland Casino buffet, the Kitchen, and generally enjoy the atmosphere and services provided. However, I’d like to bring an ongoing issue to your attention regarding the customer service experience I’ve had during recent visits, specifically involving Stephanie, one of the supervisors at the Kitchen.

On several occasions, I’ve witnessed and on today I personally experienced an interaction that left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Stephanie appears to engage in huddling with other staff members in a way that seems to prioritize personal conversations over customer service issues, rather than engaging with the customer. In addition, there have been instances where she has involved security. Today, despite there being no reason for it, she called security and this led to an awkward and unnecessary interactions with security staff, who themselves apologized.

While I understand that managing a busy kitchen and ensuring smooth operations can be challenging, the behavior I’ve observed significantly detracts from the overall experience. It feels as though Stephanie’s approach to customer service is inconsistent, and this has affected my enjoyment of visiting.

I share this feedback in the hope that you’ll look into the matter, as I believe improvements in this area could make a positive impact on customer satisfaction and the overall dining experience.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to enjoy future visits without being interrupted...

I will say ive ONLY come for LUNCH. I’m not sure on their dinner selection or menu items. But for lunch me and my husband have come around 4-5x when they’re first opening. We get some money off because we gamble there as well and only spend a total of 16$ or so for both of us to have lunch. First i need to talk about the CORNBREAD. As a southern girl at heart I LOVE some cornbread and man it’s perfection. My husbands a northern boy and he’s obsessed too :) the chicken was seasoned great but if they have some that’s almost carved up they will give you some shitty pieces to get rid of it which while i understand kinda sucks. But I’ve never asked them to change it up and get me a different one and they could likely accommodate so i wont harp on it. Everything that we get is always well seasoned and cooked well, plus very tasty! As a salt lover I don’t even need to re-salt at the table with I appreciate. The desert is a big star of the show tho. All the different cakes are amazing and the little baby macaroons are perfect and soft! A lot of different flavor options. They also offer a free drink (alcoholic) we don’t drink there that early in the morning so I don’t have anything to report there. But it’s a nice perk regardless. Very pleased and we come up there just for the lunch a lot of the times with the extra perk being gambling when im sure its often the other way around. Keep up...

Just had the worst experience at Southland Casino in The Kitchen's Restaurant

A floor supervisor named Stacy boldly walked to our table and flat out accused one of the men sitting at the table of being a thief.

She stated surveillance caught him not paying then when he told her he paid and produced a receipt out of his pocket. She took the receipt ... At the point she grabbed The receipt she was asked if surveillance was going to come and offer an apology but she walked away muffling some smart remark.

In a business whose demographic is heavily African American and Male and allows supervisors to model rude behavior and poor customer service and grounds for legal action....they should re-think who is allowed to be a supervisor.

In a lead role as a supervisor if you make a false defamatory public accusation bringing harm to patrons of the establishment the very least you want to do is immediately apologize

Noone yelled or was rude The waitresses had seen the receipts on the table..Served his drink as well as those around him but her approach was unprofessional

As i umderstand it / my complaint was not the 1st about this person

I expect to hear...
