Lennys Grill & Subs — Restaurant in West Memphis

Drove from Marion to W. Memphis. 2 Italian Subs made Lenny’s way to include Hot Relish and add Black Olives. At window, I asked if I could add 2 bags of Salt & Vinegar Chips. Girl rang it up, I paid & then returned to the window stating only 1 bag of Salt & Vinegar. She ran off a list of other chips, I stated “Ok, I’ll try the Sour Cream & Union for the 2nd bag of chips. I knew my wife would only eat Salt & Vinegar but I will eat the other just to keep the cashier from having to do a refund🤷‍♂️. Upon arriving home, my wife opened to bag. She found me outside about to mow holding the bag. They gave us very little meat, no Black Olives or Jalapeños but loaded with Hot Relish! Also, there were 2 bags of Sour Cream & Onion Chips… NO Salt & Vinegar🤦‍♂️. Wife spoke with Manager Samantha. Wife expressed we would return the sandwiches tomorrow and not drive back this evening & make other arrangements for tonight. Manager Samantha said “No, if you want to NEW Sandwiches, you must return them tonight or be out your refund or new sandwiches”. I was in the process of mowing while it was still light but no more direct sun. I had to drive back to W. Memphis. Waited in line again to get to the window, received New Sandwiches. Also returned 1 bag of chips for the Salt & Vinegar. The girl at the window sold the 1 bag left before I arrived🤦‍♂️. Once home for the 2nd time; the sandwiches had meat but again “No Jalapeños or Red Pepper Sauce”. By this time my wife had reached her limit and called again. I have eaten at this Lenny's location for years & had such a terrible experience on Sunday, I have sworn to never go back. I went with a friend who ordered a Mile-High Turkey on a Wheat Kaiser roll & I ordered the Hot Italian on wheat with a few "fixings" (lettuce, tomato, mayo, etc.). Said friend was asked 3 different times if he wanted white or wheat, giving the same answer all 3 times. His sandwich came out sloppy, with condiments all over the top and sides of the bread & it was the wrong kind of bread. My sandwich came out 10 minutes after we sat down with nothing but meat, grease, half-melted cheese & the soggiest bread I've ever seen. The sandwich was dripping with grease, looked and tasted terrible. When I sent it back for the dressings, they threw tomatoes & lettuce on top of the greasy meat & brought me a packet of mayo & hot pepper relish. Needless to say, I left Lenny's that day hungry, as I hardly touched the sandwich. Not to mention the entire staff was moving so slowly, it appeared they were all miserable to be there and/or hungover, & there was not a manager in sight. Never again. I hope they get their...

The food was terrible. Not one of the three sandwiches we ordered was correct, or even appetizing. The customer service was decent and we did come in 30 minutes before they closed to place a to go order. No one seemed agitated but I noticed they had to pull several things that they had aready put away for the evening. The sandwiches were nearly inedible. Had they not been closed by the time we made it home to eat, and if I weren't completely exhausted from the holiday activities we had participated in that day, I absolutely would have returned my order and figured something else out for dinner. This place has been on a steady decline for some time now and we will likely not be back.
