Mamma Maria — Restaurant in West Orange

I've ordered here multiple times, and only live about five minutes away. Every time I order here the food is good, but it takes about an hour to arrive. Even when I've come in person the food is never on time. The staff seems to be clueless on issues, and lacking in any type of sympathy. This most recent time I ordered a pasta dish, again waiting 45 minutes, only for the dish to be wrong. I called instantly, and they said they would send a driver with the correct order. It has taken OVER AN HOUR for my food to arrive. I called once more to get an ETA and was put on hold for seven minutes, hung up called a third time to be quickly dismissed with a "Yeah your driver is on their way. Sorry about that". How long does it take to make one order of pasta? When my driver arrived, he inquired about what happened and I just received another "Sorry about that". Don't come here if you're hungry. Never ordering...

Yesterday I orden an calamari , Wich I order at 7:55, and they say that would be ready at 9:05, when I try to call many time around 9,30 hey just put me on hold soooo many time and never answer, when they finally answer, the girl told me that they only have one driver and they food was in the a warming place! At that point I want to cancel my order , I call grubhub and cancel for that moment was already 2 hours since I place the order, I ended eating son leftovers from the day before, when I was goin to bed son person call me saying that my food was outside, so I went and they give me the food that I was cancel already, and omg was so disgusting! It was like eating a gome! How you even send some cold and old food! I wouldn’t prefer that you didn’t cause I will never order from you again, and that’s no the calamari they used to have there, I was salty and cold and I just throw at the...

This place use to be great. But as of late it’s a NO-GO! The quality of the pizza has gone way down. I order 2 boxes of pizza with paid extra cheese and sauce, when the pizza was delivered and I opened a box up the pizza was so dry it was like I ordered grill cheese!! Both boxes were like that. I then called the store to complain about my order only to be shhh and told over and over again “NO NO NO NO NO” you didn’t sauce?? As I went on I question well how much is 2 large pizza with extra cheese with delivery he gave a number and my number was higher which shows I paid extra as I pointed out to him he then got frustrated and HUNG UP on me keep in mind I’ve been a patron for years which he eve.
