CVS — Local services in West Orange

I have always gotten my prescription on this CVS - 271 main st west orange . They have really messed this store. There is one pharmacist that is really nasty. I get there at 6:50pm and she is telling my prescription cannot be filled because they are closing in a few minutes. Well, I have always gotten this prescription at the same time whentheee is another pharmacist. That is problem # 1. Problem 2 , I could not get a prescription filled , the pharmacy told me my insurance rejected it. I gave the my card , even a discount card o have on their system and they said it is not covered , and if I wanted it, to pay over $500 dollars for it. I had gotten the same prescription for 2 years from them with the same insurance for 0- zero copay. Long story short, I called the insurance which in turn called the store and they found out they were wrong to charge me over 500 dollars when I should have paid zero dollars. Time to take my business to another pharmacy. Oh and she said she cannot do anything because she is the only one. Welll she should be thankful business is good. Hire more people instead of over...

Phoned this pharmacy as a physician today at 10:53 AM. After a few minutes on hold, pharmacy picked up and hung up. Phoned again, after another wait, informed staff about dropped call, to which staff responded rudely and yelling that it’s not their fault and it was not done intentionally.

I requested to call in a medication, as the staff (not sure if pharmacist or tech, female) claimed it was not received electronically. The staff responded, “the patient does not come to this pharmacy.” I advised that the patient requested this pharmacy specifically during today’s visit. They again responded, “they don’t come here.”

Wasted valuable time and received...

I'm writing this review 'cause of the CVS pharmacy. Gotta give props to all the workers there, man. They're efficient, always helping out, and they work together like a well-oiled machine. But let me tell you about this dude named Adam. This guy's got mad energy, always rockin' a smile. And let me tell you, if you're having a rough day, just talk to Adam. With his expertise, you'll be in and out in no time, and you'll be like, 'Damn, this guy knows his stuff!' Seriously, this pharmacy is smooth as butter. I'm never stuck there for too long. So yeah, big shoutout to Adam and his awesome coworkers. I'm definitely gonna keep coming back to this...
