So here’s my story after supporting this local business for the past 15 years. I personally went into the bakery last Tuesday and ordered a cake for this Sunday. I showed person at the counter a pic (Marie) of the theme and also emailed them the picture as they requested. Stood there as they pulled up the email and confirmed everything. I also paid in full for the order. I received a call Saturday morning And was told “we are going to refund you $10?” I had to ask why? The person said because we cannot do the picture, the machine is not working. Off course this person lacking basic customer services skills didn’t bother to say, I apologize we cannot complete your order etc. After being placed on hold, hung up on and then finally getting a hold of a manager (who spoke over of me the entire time) we decided I’d go in and figure out a solution. Go back into the store she shows a pic (Somehow printed already) of original picture that’s printed and stretched, darker like by few shades, she was going to put a picture of the picture of the cake (no I didn’t type that twice, let that sink in). She said the pic looks fine to her, while the other coworker looks amazingly at her in dismay. We ended up changing the order without picture just green and black (Minecraft theme), that cost the same price without a picture (so what’s the extra charge for?) Go back Sunday and I should of lowered my expectation, they made the cake with the picture they couldn’t print. Not what we change with Marie on Saturday. The picture was not evenly placed on the cake. Tried to explain the situation to the younger workers there, they must of not cared. There was a nice woman who expressed understanding and tried to help (I’m at this point upset and almost in tears as it was the little things during this pandemic a parent can possibly do to make birthdays special.) I was offered a $20 credit to the store, I declined. I explained through tears that I should of known better as throughout the years this Bakery has gone downhill. Service and quality is poor, would give zero stars if I could of. Why do you ask like many people ask why do I still go there, again to support local business. Read moreIF I COULD RATE THIS BUSINESS A ZERO I WOULD! This was by far one of my WORST EXPERIENCES with customer service ever. I expressed my concerns with a gender reveal cake I received was offered a refund as an option from employee then the manager RICHARD said his employee Chris never said that. He was very rude while speaking to me and nasty and also said that my 1 bad review won’t out do the great reviews his business has. NEVER GETTING ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. He offered me $10 off of a $80 cake and they charged me for Blue Velvet and the cake was vanilla that they tried to dye dark blue. The cake turned out turquoise.
The cake was supposed to say March 2025 on it, when I received the cake it said March 2024 which was 7 months ago. Letters weren’t aligned on the cake and it just looked sloppy. The letters were not aligned.
All the manager RICHARD said was “Well we did our best, I can offer you $10 back”
2 Store Employees Chris and Stacy ensured me that I would get a refund once I send an email and speak with Richard. When I stated that to Richard he said no they never said that. Mind you I’ve been calling since Tuesday the 22nd it is Friday the 25th and he’s just now reaching back out to me. I also offered to bring the cake back for refund but he refused!
VERY terrible, VERY dissatisfied! SHAKING MY HEAD!
Richard was a very NASTY individual who made very smart remarks to me. Who once again said to me that my ONE bad review would not matter over the rest of the good reviews so why did you even respond, because you know you were wrong on all aspects.

I neve4r thought I'd cry over a cake but was literally at the brink of tears at how bad this cake was compare to what I actually ordered. I provided an example of a cake I wanted and said I wanted it in the exact same colors as the photo provided. I stated that several times including in the email I sent to submit the order along with speaking to manager..... The only difference with my cake was that it was going to be a 1 tier tall cake vs the 2 tier in the picture and the roses would edible vs real roses. Let me tell you the cake it got is drastically different in colors with very bright colors vs the muted colors of the cake ordered...it also doesn't have a hit of magenta which was the main color in the pic of the cake......This complete ruined the color scheme I was going for and according to them they couldn't fix one color (the orange) that would have made a huge difference in what I wanted vs what I got. I feel like if they couldn't do the cake they should have just said that. Being that I ordered this cake over a month ago I would have had ample time to find someone else to do it.... Additionally, they are all over the place, employees don't have the expertise to take proper orders...needed to wait for a manager. They wasn't sure how to find my cake since my name wasn't on some list that they use to track orders....I probably wouldn't shop here again. If I could give them zero stars I would.
