Sun Fish Market — Restaurant in Orange

Poor service and fish was not fresh for example walked in three employees behind the counter made eye contact yet did not speak nor offer assistance. Ice from the fish pile had spilled off its tray on to the metal had to be careful not to get any on me while examining the fish which eyes were cloudy and I could smell a fish odor stronger than normal through my mask. Also I observed a pile(at least 3 inches above the ice bed it sat on) of raw salmon fillets loosely covered by plastic wrap draped over them without proper ice coverage to keep them at an even safe temperature. Do to the above issues I walked out never being acknowledged by staff whom clearly saw me and I will never patronize this business lack of quality is enough to discourage a...

Sad seeing what’s put into the areas dominated by MY people. Even sadder that the people who eat here don’t know this isn’t how a fish market should smell. Only old fish has the awful Smell that’s in this shop. They leave the door open, flies get all over the food, one of the workers who “clean” the fish was sneezing and wiping his nose all while “cleaning” the fish. Wake up my people and demand better smh. I’ll stick to traveling 2 hours away for actual FRESH fish market....

The fish is pretty good the scallops are very big the way I like them to be shrimp are huge again like I like them to be I also purchased a tilapia and a fish steak over all this is my first time buying from this fish market and I give it a thumbs up and its clean Now their crab are kinda on the pricey side especially if they small I mean 30 for 12 small crabs that's a no for me I will continue to stick with the crab palace ....
