I rarely write negative reviews. Typically I rather speak with my wallet and just don't come back. I called ahead and place order- told 20mins. They never take names here. Arrived 15mins later. After watching several people place orders and go, I asked about my order. I was told few more minutes and asked to wait to the side. I actually complied and that was my downfall. They ended up giving my order to someone else because they don't take names or check order tickets. The staffer passing out orders assumed I was with the man he gave my order to, and was upset with me, basically accusing me that I already had received my food. Someone walked out with $35 in food. They promised to remake the order but wouldn't confirm what I actually order for another 15mins just saying he was going to get it. Nearly 45 mins later, I got my order. I double checked it before leaving. 12min drive home and the 2 garlic chicken dinners order were soggy. Apparently they just gave away the orange chicken dinner and let the rest sit or didn't make simultaneously. Terrible dinner tonight and worst service we have received here. This is our final visit as it is the second time our food was mistakenly given away. (We have ordered at least 7 times before.) Always willing to give restaurants another chance as things happen but after watching how the food is prepared did me in, especially with the challenges of COVID. *Cook took food out of freeze BARED hand and placed into pan to fry.- this should be a healthy violation!! **Duck sauce is self- served in open container, people get container from staff and fill, touching laddle- unsanitary *People are not reminded to wait to the side or asked to move, instead allowing crowding the counter where food waits.- frustrating when other need to pick up order and creates chaos- no social distancing
I ordered from Grand China for the first time on this past Sunday 7/5/20. I drove 20 minutes out of my way because of all the good reviews. However sadly the food was a huge disappointment I ordered a quart of the special fried rice and a quart of Wonton soup. My total was $16+ Which didn't match up to the prices listed on their website. When I asked about why the prices were higher the employee informed me that the prices listed online were old. I thought the price was kind of high but I figured if it's great food it'll be worth it. However the wonton soup was horrible the worst me and my family of three have ever had. We wound up not even eating 70% of the quart. The soup was a dark brown broth loaded with this awful flavor. There was no shredded pork loose in the soup like I am used to and the wontons weren't fresh they were mushy and not good even the pork inside of the wontons weren't edible. The Special fried rice contained Chicken, Shrimp and pork. I asked to add bean sprouts but they were out?.... What type of Chinese restaurant runs out of bean sprouts? The rice was ok nothing awesome about it. It had a descent flavor however it also didn't taste fresh. Nor did it contain the crunchy bean sprouts that I usually enjoy in my fried rice. Needless to say my family and I won't be returning to Grand China, at least on the plus side it's far from my house so we won't have to drive so far out of our way for Chinese...

I ordered takeout here thinking I’d be soaring into a delicious Chinese food paradise. Instead, my meal must have boarded an earlier flight to somewhere far, far away… because it sure didn’t land in my hands on time. 🛫🥡
The Pickup Experience 🚶♂️➡️: Imagine walking into a restaurant where the staff looks at you like you’ve just interrupted their meditation retreat. I stood there awkwardly while my food apparently went through customs, security screening, and maybe even a layover in Atlanta. 🛃⏳
The Food (When It Finally Arrived… Barely) 🍜: Lukewarm noodles, egg rolls so tired they could use a nap, and fried rice that looked like it had been on standby since last Tuesday. 🍚💤 If this is "Grand" China, I can only imagine what "Mediocre China" would be.
The Vibe 🎭: Pickup counter chaos. Zero eye contact. Background music? Just the sweet hum of the soda fridge. The only thing grand about this place was the amount of time I spent waiting. 🕰️🙃
Final Verdict 📦: If you’re ordering here, better pack a snack — your food will take off on its own journey before it ever makes it...
