A Night to Remember at Rhythm Cafe Walking into Rhythm Cafe in West Palm Beach was the beginning of a truly remarkable dining experience. This unique spot blends eclectic fine dining with a casual, retro atmosphere, offering something distinctly special. The highlight of our evening was the Joe Pacetti special, a breaded chicken entree that effortlessly captured the spotlight. Each bite was a perfect harmony of flavors, showcasing why this dish is a must-try. Alongside, the tuna tartare and halibut with carrots and green beans were equally impressive, each dish standing strong on its own merits. The sides, including the rice and mashed potatoes, were beyond delectable, adding a comforting touch to our meal with their exquisite preparation and presentation. We were also pleased to meet the owners, Dennis and Ken, at our table, whose passion and dedication for their establishment added a personal touch to our dining experience. Our meal concluded with a selection of desserts, each one amazing in its own right. The chocolate cake, in particular, was the favorite dessert of the night, leaving a lasting impression with its rich flavor and perfect texture. The owners, Dennis and Ken, truly make Rhythm Cafe a gem in West Palm Beach. Dennis, with his expert management, ensures every guest feels welcomed, while Chef Ken's culinary talents are evident in every dish. Their dedication and passion for the cafe are evident, making each visit unforgettable. For anyone in search of an unparalleled dining experience, Rhythm Cafe is the place to be. It's not just the exceptional food but also the warm atmosphere and personal touch from the owners that make every visit memorable. A five-star experience from start to finish.

July 3, 2021: YUM. I love this place. It is so welcoming and comfortable. Bob is still the best. We had Saganaki (Cheese On Fire) with Pita, Shrimp in a Lemon Sauce over Linguine, Tournedos Au Poive (with vegetables and rice, Red Snapper with Artichokes, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Lemon Wine Sauce YUM. The vegetables and salads are great. For dessert, we had Heath Bar Pie and Toasted Coconut and Coffee Ice Cream (made in house). So good and so satisfying. We will keep coming back here. We love it. Prior review: They really are a five. Cool ambience, really good food and service. Bob was the best. The bread is made in house and crusty and good. We had: Tenderloin Tips, Sautéed with Shiitake Mushrooms, Bacon, and Caramelized Onions, Demi Glace Sauce with Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese on top. Yum. And a Snapper Meuniere Almondine (you have to ask for the Meuniere). OMG good. The fish had a slight crispness from the sautee. Well executed. The entrees come with two sides. We had the green beans, sauteed spinach and coconut rice. We eyeballed the smashed potatoes but...next time. Dessert was an awesome Peach Cobbler with Whipped Cream on one side and house made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream on the other. And an Espresso. We will be back. Great service (thank you Bob), good vibe and awesome food.

This was reccomended by family. We stopped in on a week day at 5:30. We were told no tables available until after 8:30. They have a diner style counter and we asked if we could sit there without a reservation...they hesitated but allowed. We ordered, waited for bread service, never received. dinner arrived but one of our fish entrees was raw so we sent back. The wait staff was busy with multiple tables even though not a full restaurant so our service was a bit slow. Once the fish was brought back it was delicious. But no one checked back or apologized for the uncooked fish. We may make our way back to give another try but next time will MAKE A RESERVATION AND BRING CASH (the preferred payment method)

This was a very interesting/odd restaurant experience for me.

This restaurant seems at once staunchly sure of what it wants to be and entirely unsure of what it wants to be.

Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Atmosphere - 0/5 (can I give this a lower score?)

Immediately upon walking into Rhythm Cafe we were greeted with kind, smiling faces from the servers. However, in the same instance, every one of our senses was violently assaulted with bizarre smells, odd music, and the most god-awful decor that anyone in my party had ever seen. It was so strange and loud and weird that it distracted from the otherwise pleasant experience.

The restaurant seems to be going for a fun 60's fine-dining vibe, but by way of a drug-fueled fever dream. For every piece of art featuring Marilyn Monroe or The Beatles, there is one featuring South Park or Mr. Potatohead. They have Christmas lights on year round apparently and the shelves behind the bar are COVERED in odd knick knacks from vintage Barbies to multiple Mr. Potatohead dolls, to an entire shelf full of old cans of beans. There were multiple Flamingo statues, some wearing flamboyant clothing. When we entered, we were overcome with a smell of cat food or kitty litter, or some kind of cat smell - not a good smell, and it was strong. The art on the walls was mostly 60s modern art style, but it was all so bright and loud and colorful - not at all a bad thing for a 60s themed restaurant, but in conjunction with all the other strange decor made the atmosphere so unbearably distracting that one can barely focus on the surprisingly delicious food and really great service.

Everything on the menu is unique and interesting and sounds delicious. Everything we ate there was wonderful and original. Our server was personable and nice and deserved the big tip he got. I really wanted to love this place, the wine and beer selection was great, and the food really was quite good. But the atmosphere was so disturbingly disjointed and weird that it honestly made everyone in my party uncomfortable to the point that more than one of us could not finish our food; which again, was good.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is blind and/or owns a blindfold and nose plugs. The food is very good, but not so good that it makes me want to go back and brave the knick-knacky 60s-yet-not-60s fever dream. Perhaps an elderly, tacky, Tim Burton fan might enjoy it, but other than that I cannot fathom who this atmosphere was...

after 25 years of a big fan and supporter, of this business, the convenience of walking distance and relationship with the owners, i recently had a very personal horrible negative experience, i have supported this business for 25 years, i have recommended to many people that have become their new clients, during locked down i spend money i could have save considering i'm self employed getting no income, because i want them to stay in business, the day after this recent bad experienced I look for one the oldest employees there on Facebook, Bob; he had unfriended me, I left a message with Dennis, the owner, before i share this, no one call me back, I have a feeling that this is political, and very unwise, it 7 pm on a Saturday night off season during covid, business are closing down, i was given a table for me and my gorgeous companion, we were the youngest and best dress, we were having a great time, celebrating my fiend's first outing after open heart surgery, she made it and finally able to go out, as always i chose this place, there were only four tables with customers having dinner on a Saturday night at 7pm, i was reprimanded by Bob, for not making a reservation, we were ignored when we need to order another drink, as he passed by and we tried to get him, he told us he must attend accordingly, Ken was making his usual egocentric rounds from table to table, with his negative stories i can't careless about, to at the time we were about to leave, he yelled at me from behind the bar; is that a tumor you are growing on your face? regarding my perfect beautiful beard, this was totally unacceptable disrespectful, and hateful behavior, I will never go back, and many of my friend's conservative will never be put through this, they will not support this venue either. I can't say for sure this is political, i do not know any other reason why of all people they would particularly would do this to me, good luck staying in business if this is how you guys treat your...
