The manager at the Okeechobee store working today, April 20th, is horrible! I've been ordering lunch from this specific Jimmy Johns since 2013. They are one of the few places that delivers. Today a co-worker and I ordered online. After 30 minutes of waiting and still no food, I called the store to inquire about the status of our order. The employee put me on hold and got the manager. I explained that we placed our order online and that we still haven't received our food. He stated that they have no orders. I logged into my account and our order was there AND the money was already a "pending" item on my bank account. I asked if I could tell him our order over the phone and we will show proof of payment and order and he said that he would have to charge us if the order was taken over the phone. That the website is corporate and they are a franchise. I asked for assistance with the order process to see if I had messed up because we didn't have a confirmation email and he said no. I asked for a refund then, he said no. While on the phone with him, the confirmation email came through. 40 minutes later! Their website's technical difficulties are the customer's problem to solve? Once they confirmed they had the order, I asked him to please hold my co-workers order because she had to leave and he refused. At this point, I'm not asking for anything other than customer service. NO freebees, no credit for anything...just customer service. He continued to be rude so I just told him that this will be our LAST order to his store. THE MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED! Read moreBe careful when you order delivery!!!! Placed an order in the JJ app for delivery. After placed the order they sent my order to uber for delivery. There were multiple drivers assigned and they kept changing. I called store multiple times to Let them know I hadn’t received the order and it keeps getting reassigned to different drivers. I have screenshots showing all of it. Eventually the order was cancelled through the uber. I never got my order. So basically someone stole it. The store kept passing me around to people who did nothing and then told me they would refund. They didn’t. It’s been a month and I’ve made numerous attempts to the store and spoke to multiple “managers”. None of them have helped. Read moreI am shocked. I placed an order on their app and called to make payment over the phone because I selected pay with cash by accident. The gentleman I spoke with spoke to me as if I were incompetent. He asked me what my address was and I continued to tell him where I was located, the gentleman then proceeded to tell me that my address is incorrect and that my road only has a 1000-2000 block. I explained to him that they have delivered to me multiple times and that I assure him my address is correct. I even gave clear cut directions to where I am located and he still proceeded to speak as if I didn't know my own address. I must say I know the address I work at because I am here 10 hrs a day.
