I have to start off by RAVING about these paletas! I am Mexican, having tried many varieties of paletas and Mexican ice creams, and these are the bees knees! I ordered a pistachio paleta, in a waffle, with white chocolate and more pistachios. I was actually in the mood for baklava and this exceeded expectations at recreating the flavor profile. Now what I need to mention is the customer service. We were immediately greeted by what seemed like the manager/owner, who was incredibly nice and informative. As new comers, she explained how everything worked. However, when she left, the young lady behind the counter did not seem very informed or interested. A few customers came in after us and were not greeted. Another customer asked “where is this concept from?” and she didn’t know. Their paletas are creamy and flavorful, but the real magic happens when you get to customize them with their large variety of dippings and toppings. From white chocolate, cookie butter, and toppings like crushed almonds, pistachios, and Graham's crackers. The possibilities are endless! I opted for the yogurt with berries paleta dipped in rich white chocolate and topped with crushed almonds - pure perfection! I love living so local to Morelia! The ice cream is top notch. The assortment of flavors are so diverse. You can choose your own toppings which are amazing!!! My favorite is the marshmallow bc they heat it up to give it that s’mores effect. The experience here is like no other and is so unique, that alone is worth the visit! The staff is always so polite and kind. The shop keeps its cleanliness always, and you can see and feel the atmosphere is well kept. One of the other upsides to Morelia’s is they have outdoor seating covered by umbrellas to protect you from the sun. There are many perks as well to being a customer!
