Red Light Palm Beach — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I discovered this location online a few weeks ago while looking for a spot to have a surprise party for my boyfriend. And now I'm obsessed!!

First of all, it's not so easy to find, yet this is one of the highlights of the experience. After inevitably finding the door with the red light above, hidden away in Monroe's parking lot, you enter the corridor and discover a secret door with a bell. The man inside peeks out and welcomes you in.

It evokes the atmosphere of a 1930s speakeasy. Very intriguing.

Once inside, our guests and the staff erupted in a wonderful roar, yelling "Surprise."

It was then that I had a chance to look around and fully absorb the surroundings and mood. It was perfect. A variety of swanky, stylish seats, sofas, and tables. Perfect for my group of 20 to sit, mingle, and explore.

A really talented young female singer played the piano and serenaded us all night.

The staff: What could I possibly say about each and every one of them? From managers to servers, they were all OUTSTANDING!

Everyone went above and beyond to make this surprise birthday party truly memorable. They exceeded my expectations. I had so many compliments from my friends about the service. We were all very impressed.

Food: Another huge success! I pre-ordered various appetizers, and each one was better than the next! The pork belly is still on my mind. I'll be going back for that!!

I'd also prepared a cupcake tier, and they were so helpful in putting everything together.

Even though there were other patrons in the restaurant, it felt like we were the only ones there; they made us feel very special.

WOW. Seriously WOW! If you are tired of the same old humdrum fancy restaurants and steakhouses, then you need to check this place out ASAP! Went for a date night with my sweetie based on a friend's recommendation. Didn't know what to expect given where it was at but I liked the idea that it has its own separate entrance and is basically its own entity. It is literally a speak easy, in my opinion, five-star restaurant. From the moment you are greeted at the door, to the moment you leave, you have someone catering to your every need. They're specialty cocktails and the food, words won't even do justice. I'm someone who would never order a pork chop in a restaurant but I'm glad that my boyfriend did. He shared some with me and all I can say is its one of the best meals I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and when you want a romantic night out, make your reservation for here you won't be sorry....

We showed up right at 7:00 which was our reservation time and we could not get in. They opened ten minutes late. Not to mention this is attached to Monroe’s Gentlemens Club. You could see strippers dancing through the 2-way mirror behind the bar. All we could hear was the thumping of the loud music from the strip club next door coming through the walls. I’d hardly consider this an upscale classy Prohibition style speakeasy bar and restaurant. We ordered the meat cheese charcuterie board we literally got hunks of cheddar cheese and Swiss cheese and some diced up meat. Your advertising makes it sound like a really amazing place and never do they disclose that it’s attached to a strip club. Not exactly a great date night with the wife going to see naked women through the mirror behind the bar unless that’s the kind of thing you’re into but that’s not what we expected when...
