Let me tell you about my wild night at Spearmint Rhinosâexcept, wild is the last word Iâd use to describe it. Honestly, it was more of a letdown than anything else. The place was sketchy from the moment I walked in. You know how some places just have that weird vibe where something feels off? Yeah, that was Spearmint Rhinos all the way. First off, the whole club felt dead. You'd think on a weekend night, a strip club would have some energy, right? Nope. It was boring as hell. The dancers? Practically nonexistent. Iâm not even exaggerating when I say most of them were on their phones the entire time, scrolling through Instagram or texting. It was like they didnât care at all. Youâd make eye contact, thinking maybe theyâd get up and do something, but nopeâback to their screens. Then there was the drinks. And hereâs where things went from bad to shady real quick. I ordered a couple of cocktails, expecting at least a buzz, but after two drinks, I wasnât feeling anything. So, I started to get suspicious. I watched the bartender closely, and sure enough, she got caught red-handed pouring me straight water in a glass. I couldnât believe it. They were straight-up serving watered-down drinksâif not just waterâand charging full price like it was top-shelf liquor. It felt like they were running a scam, taking advantage of people who werenât paying attention. The bartender didnât even seem bothered when I called her out. It was as if this was routine, like they do this to customers all the time. Everything about the place screamed "sketchy." From the shady vibe at the door to the barely-there atmosphere, it was a disaster. There wasnât any excitement, the staff clearly didnât care, and on top of that, they were scamming people left and right with fake drinks. Honestly, if youâre thinking about going, be careful. Itâs not worth your time or money. Just stay far away unless youâre into watered-down drinks, bored dancers, and wasting your night at...
Read moreI would feel reprehensible if I didnât take the time to leave a review on my experience at this place. After traveling a few hours to visit some long time friends of mine, we decided to end the night with some excitement. This was the closest place in the area. We joked with the lovely lady up front and tipped her for her lovely personality. We walked in to a place that seemed rather slow for a weekend early night, which seemed a little odd. The night was going okay and the entertainment seemed no more than faint, but we were going to make the best of it. Bartenders were nice and the dancers were nice and we pretty much had the stage to ourselves. An hour went by, and this is when the night turned in to a complete nightmare. This really rowdy security guy was jumping up and down to the music and had knocked one of my friends drinks over. Iâm guessing some of the drinks spilled on the guard and my friend quickly looked at him and apologized after catching herself from falling over. The security guy became angry and started cursing and yelling at my friend as if she bumped in to the guard. The security guy seemed as if he had a few drinks which isnât really a big deal but to act like that after a mistake is very unprofessional. We didnât even bother to get another drink. We quickly closed out the tab after tipping the bartender and left the place. I honestly wish that guy took his anger out on someone who may have started a fight or hurt someone. I think the security guy name was Dario. I rather spend my night in hell than another hour at this place with Dario to say the least. I want the guy to keep his job but please be nice the next...
Read moreNot what it used to be. Pretty sure the only ones leaving good reviews here are the investors. There are plenty of other competition in the area. Besides the mediocre service from most of the staff, the management was probably the worst. Practically everyone looked miserable as if they did not want to be there. The only good thing was the service from my third and final visit from the short, nice blonde. I have seen better management at fast food chains. The food was below standards, even for a gentlemanâs club. Both times it was undercooked and cold as if it had been sitting out. Security I believe to be a joke and clear signs of those hiring friends over quality. Some of the dancers will definitely rip you off and expect a hefty tip after below standard and effortless performances. Lastly, their advertised $10 dances on tuesdays is highly misleading due to the fact that you have to purchase a wristband with a $5 house fee, which did not something done previously. House fee for the champagne room is about $100, the rest, depending on which person who are talking to, will be their âtipâ. But some will have you believe that that is the standard rate. Six different people gave me six different amounts. Finally two told me the truth. From someone who has managed in the industry in Vegas for over 30 years, this is just a sad example of laziness all across. Iâm sure it wonât be long before corporate...
