B2 Cafe — Restaurant in West Reading

I have frequented B2 Bistro & B2 cafe many times being a resident of West Reading and have always been impressed with the quality and creativity of the food despite the high prices. However today I was pretty disappointed in the food that arrived via Door Dash (The delivery was fine, the food arrived hot and on time.)

The breakfast pizza I ordered as pictured below is a pale resemblance of the described menu item (also pictured from B2) "A 12" red sauce pizza with 2 eggs sunny side up, breakfast sausage, chopped hashbrowns, mozzarella cheese, arugula, and white balsamic."... The pizza arrived with curly fries (hashbrowns?) and the eggs look like an afterthought. Not what I would pay $16 for.

In addition, I ordered the blueberry lavender lemonade but I don't really know if that's what I received. The first thing that struck me as odd with the pink colour. The taste - fruit punch.

The crispy potatoes and the Hibiscus Choc Chip cannoli French toast were the only redeeming parts of my order. Both of these arrived as expected and were delicious

I really hope the next time I choose to order from B2 that all the items I receive match and resemble...

So, today we waited over and hour for egg sandwiches. We arrived shortly before 11am and sat at a table immediately. We ended up leaving at 12:15 pm before our food arrived. We were told it would be another 15 mins or so and our 3.5 year old basically reached his limit. After we sat for 45 mins we did hear the hostesses and servers telling guests it would be over an hour wait regardless of their order. But we were not informed of this when we arrived. Other tables were waiting as well. But we did see a few tables sit and get their orders quickly. So we were hopeful our meal was the next to come. But alas it never did. After an hour I did check in with our server. She went back to the kitchen and came out in tears with the manager. They were extremely apologetic! From the murmurs of the servers the chef was yelling at anyone who came in to check on orders. No one should be treated like that. I am still giving a 5 star rating. We have eaten here many times before with no issues and the food is alway fabulous. We will just probably never go back...

the service was good, im in LOVE with the atmosphere. now the food, honestly im not a fan of the pancakes. i was expecting nice soft pancakes but it had like a sponge texture and im a huge texture person. one wrong texture and i hate it. it was okay tho, at least the fruits were fresh but i disliked the pancakes, they were also dry. dry and spongy. looks amazing tho, but i genuinely feel like i got catfished.

okay anyways their drinks are so good, i forgot what my drink was but i wish i couldve got more. 11/10 drink, i would go here again just for this drink. the avocado toast with tater tots were the best, the sauce for the tater tots was so fricking good. if you want a good filling breakfast, get it.

my only problem is really the pancakes, im sure you noticed since half of the review was the pancakes, literally the only reason why its a 4/5 stars. besides that it is good food, go there just avoid pancakes unless you like...
