Comālli Taqueria — Restaurant in West Reading

Apparently, you can't post more than one review Even if the reviews are more than a year apart This place used to be GREAT. But as of recently, the service is horrible the last couple times it's taken forever to get food And tonight was the final straw. The google listing ending menu say they close at 8 on a sunday. I started calling at 7:15 To this place a quick to go order Which I've done in the past, at least 3 different times with no issue. I Just 3 tacos, nothing special. I tried calling 4 different times with no answer. All going to a voicemail that's full So I thought to myself they must be really busy. I'll just drive over there and see if I can't order in person I get there, there's tons of people seated outside And also a group of kids hanging out in the parking lot for some reason I went in stood at the register Waited for someone to come up front @ 7:40 I was told by the girl that came up front that they closed at 7:30 and if that's going the case fine then change the posted hours On the menus that are literally sitting at the front door and also on Google or just tell the truth and say........We don't need or want your Business. I'd respect that a hell of a lot more than making up some b.S about closing at 7:30. And I'm also trying to figure out if my experience would have been better if I had an expensive digital camera with a gimbal mount and was taking photos of people eating out front. And I'll say, again, this place used to be great.The food didn't change, but...

I don't normally write reviews but our service was so appalling that I feel compelled. I visited because it was highly recommended and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately there seem to be no systems in place for staff. We had to ask several times for just about everything, our food was delivered without napkins or utensils, and when we asked one server if we could get menus and water because nobody had come back to our table in about 10 minutes with those things he asked how long we've been waiting like why were we being impatient. He also didn't appreciate when we later asked him for waters because we still hadn't gotten any. Sorry that he wasn't our server but we were being ignored repeatedly. Our own server seemed to be running around like crazy while others were standing around socializing.

Then the worst part was that instead of simply sweeping the small outdoor area at the end of the night one of the servers used a leaf blower to blow the trash into the street. He said he was told someone would clean it but I don't believe it. This was also and inefficient because it took a long time and half the trash was still on the ground under the tables.

I don't really blame the servers for the disastrous service, it seems someone needs to come in and impose some systems for cooperation and communication. Oh yeah and they closed the bar 15 to 20 minutes before they closed the kitchen so I couldn't even get a drink. It was a very disappointing end to a day spent...

Went to Taqueria Comālli yo meet ftiends, i got there first and they asked me if i wanted to wait for my friends at the bar, i said sure and had a coke, now i am the only person inside the place and 2 people outside eating. So my girls come in and i said did you wanna sit at a table and so we did, about 5 minutes into sitting down a waitress says "just so you know you cant jump from the bar to a table, cause its different servers, its okay now but if we are busy its not allowed". What! So i said, you asked me if i wanted to wait at the bar not eat at the bar and there is no one in here. Her reply was, well just so you know for the future. She has no idea my future will be at another place to eat! I thought maybe i was over thinking it, but my friend even said that was kind of rude, why not just me to pay for my soda and call me a new customer, but dont scold me like i have no common sense. Just felt like this was something that should have been said to me if i actually did something wrong, not when every seat and bar stool was empty. I can respect the policy but not...
