Mamma Mia's Pizzeria & Trattoria — Restaurant in West Springfield

First time eating here, after someone on Facebook gave it a "Great Review", and I gotta say, I disagree. Ordered at 8:15pm on a Friday night, went to pick it up, got there at 8:50pm, was handed my box, which was piping hot on the bottom. Got home, got comfortable and went to go out, pizza LOOKED GREAT, but the flavor just wasn't there. The crust was almost rock hard, and I absolutely LOVE a good crust. Having a nice crunch on the outside with a airyness on the inside, is ideal, this was not that. Not sure if the pizza sat for too long(15 minutes before I started eating), or if it was overcooked, but it was very hard to eat. The flavor of the pizza was also kinda flat. Aside from the toppings on the pizza, there really wasn't a flavor. The sauce was flat, and if it weren't for the pepperoni, Hamburg, sausage and ham on my pizza, I'd feel like I was eating the box. Maybe I just ordered too late in the night, but I'll give them another try, and see if it's a different outcome. But as it stands now, not...

Not the best by any means. But not the worst either. Out of the choices for delivery in west springfield this place is probably a good solid choice. My husband and I have never gotten sick off the food . The salads are very good they come with a meal you pick soup or salad. What i noticed is the salads come with cucumbers an assortment of vegetables. Unlike other places that just pack their salads with too much lettuce. Their spaghetti an meatballs i have gotten a couple times. The meatballs are under cooked . However, the spaghetti is perfectly cooked. Would love it if they seasoned the meatballs better an cooked them a little bit longer if so that dish would be perfect. The sauce is also very good . My husband got the chicken palm grinder . The chicken is too salty an they stuff it with a little too much cheese. However, that is an easy fix by letting the cook know. Other then that we will eat there again an looking forward to trying some...

This is a little late but I ordered during yesterdays snowstorm and the told me an hour and it was here in about a 40-45 minutes (I wasnt looking at the time) I ordered just a simple bowl of soup and that cost me about $9 which is a great price, for me. Also tonight I ordered a alfredo pasta with spaghetti, grilled chicken and broccoli it tastes awesome and I will be ordering more often... also I would love to give a shout out to the whole team for working during these hard times for everyone (even if some people weren't there when I placed my orders) and a special shout out to Jason for bringing me my food in a timely manner and excellent customer service... thank you all and I hope business keeps everyone working...
