I had a great time except "guest service" where u get bracelets . My daughter is disabled & was obvious that sh3 needed for the same accommodation as last year & I only had 2 hours 2ith her so she can do all the fun things and almost 45 min was h3lp up because out of the 3 women and none of them knew how to handle the situation properly. My daughter began to panic worrying if she b wou l d be v able b to n still do all the fun things bc they kept saying she had to have it on her body somewhere when that was not an c hoice that was possible she could not have it on her and her staff explained how last yr did it and other places that accommodate a person with disabilities l Ike pica disorder or prader-willi syndrome I've never ran into this issue especially having 2 board certified staff members 5here explaining & trying to help but still 45 MIN GONE FROM THE 2 HOURS MY DAUGHTER HADTO DO ALL THE FUN THINGS!! NOT TO MENTION 40$ PE4 BRACLET X4 bracelets was a lot to spend to onl3 have 1.15 hrs out of the 2hours we should have had. I'm upset at this part bc 5here was no need for it. It is located in West Springfield, MA and it is always on my list of places to go every year. There is something there for everyone. The Better Living building and The International buildings are a must to visit. I make it a point to visit each one whenever I go. I've found items that I am unable to find elsewhere. The craft tent area is another must-see. There is a mid-way section with rides and games. There are food vendors everywhere. The state buildings are another must-see. You will find food and items that are famous to each state, whether it's the famous Maine baked potato in the Maine building or the clam cakes and chowder in the Rhode Island building. You get the idea. There is so much to do and see and eat! I bring a small backpack to carry some of the smaller purchases I've made. Read moreThe people at the gate were ever so friendly but I must say that this year was probably the final year I will attend the Big E It was absolutely disappointing to see That they did not have the tractors They didn't have but one car dealer that I could find and it just seemed like there were many missing vendors that I remember seeing on other years and enjoyed browsing through. It seems like most of the stuff now is just novelty non craftsmanship garbage in my opinion but that's just my opinion. $20 to enter for adults is a little too high and the prices of the food well let's just say I could have went out to a five-star restaurant sat down and had a beautiful meal for the amount that I had to spend on fair food we always go with the expectation we're going to pay more but not the way we paid this year so from now on we'll need to go to other fairs or we'll just go out and have a good day at a restaurant somewhere it's gotten to the point where it's just not enjoyable knowing you're being taken...
