Last time we ordered the food was absolutely horrible no meat on the hoagie, pizza was cold and just horrible actually taste stale, the customer service is absolutely horrible. Which is not always the case. I also think it is a turn off that the owner will ask you to pay cash consistently because he does not want to have to pay a fee for a charge card when you own a business that’s part of it. Asking a customer to pay cash in a rude way and looking at them as if they did something wrong because they want to pay with a debit or charge card because he has fees to pay is so unprofessional and uncomfortable. Asking a customer to tip you when you’re picking up I think is also outrageous . I am all for tipping industry so I’m not against tipping I actually tip well not when asked by owner. The bathroom is the storage closet filled with bleach and everything else that does not belong in there . The biggest turn off for me is how absolutely ignorant, aggressive, insulting, and greedy the owner is! No more will you have our families business! Oh and let me not forget that every time we order we are over charged and when we bring it to their attention we get the attitude as if we did something wrong. Be a little nicer to your employees and customers!fyi your arrogance shows in every response on the reviews* I’ve never ordered less than $10 and when I asked what the total was and you charged me different has not a thing to do with add ons. None of the pizza shops I go to are “cash only” and the bottom line is.....The customer service is horrible especially from owner/management and the food is hit or miss. We didnt need another “small business owner” in West View especially an arrogant one that takes from the family friendly great pizza shops that do not treat employees and...
Read moreStopped in to order a quick dinner to take home to eat. Didn't want to eat at a restaurant bc we had just left the DMV and had spent alot of time waiting to get our license renewals....just wanted to head home. I was told 1/2 hour for 2 subs and a calzone....checked at a 1/2 hour, was told a few more minutes. I ordered at 4:50PM. A few minutes turned in to asking again at 6:00PM, order still wasn't ready. Lines were out the door bc peoples orders weren't ready. Several people who had been waiting as long as me got their orders and they were missing parts of their order, and had to wait to get their order corrected. At 6:30 my order STILL wasn't ready, and also heard them say they were out of tartar sauce.....at that point I WAS DONE. Canceled my order, asked for a receipt for my credit card refund, left and went down the street and got awesome Chinese food from Yeungs, and had it in 10 minutes. Also note.....there was a very young baby, probe about 6 months in a playpen in the kitchen entryway. Cleaning chemicals were on a shelf above the playpen, there are so many potential hazards in a kitchen environment......I didn't understand the thinking, or lack of thinking behind that. I can't imagine that if an inspector came in that that would have been an acceptable arrangement. I won't be back. Total disaster.
Update....If you request a refund and you paid with a credit card, be sure to ask for a receipt showing the credit. I asked for a receipt, it showed a refund amount, but it was not credited to my credit card. I had to call my credit card co to have the credit issued to my card. Fortunately for me, it was a simple process. If you choose to eat...
Read moreWe order from here periodically and the hoagies are decent. Today we ordered a gluten free hoagie and received a gluten free pizza that was $16 rather than the hoagie which was $9. Sure I could've double checked the packages but we've never had this problem here before and that's not my job to get the order correct after I order it appropriately. When I called about a credit next time we order or a credit to my account, the female employee said multiple times they don't credit accounts. So I asked to talked to a manager and she said that's me and I still can't do anything about it. She offered to make the hoagie but by this point we were home and ready to eat and the hoagie was another drive and 15 minutes until it was cooked. I had them cook a new one and forgot to pick it up because we were busy finding a replacement while the rest of the food got cold.
So now the person who ordered the hoagie didn't want the pizza and ate a sandwich. Completely disappointed with the lack of customer service or service recovery. I'll gladly take my money to any other place for pizza than here.
The worst part is the owner seemed ok anytime I dealt with him, he just needs a better manager who knows how to solve minor issues with proper service that will keep people coming back rather than losing their business.
I hope people not only read the reviews but the responses as well because they're end up being defensive and proving the customer wrong rather than apologizing, reviewing ways to improve, and moving on even if it involves...
