McDonald's — Restaurant in West View

I had high hopes when I heard corporate came down on this location recently and things were getting better. There is not much to choose from for fast food around West View so it would be nice to know you could rely on the place down the road. It got better, but for a brief time. Now it's right back to what it used to be.

It seems like the owners don't want to put in the work at all. The employees for the most part are always super nice and helpful, but you can tell they are undertrained and overworked. The management is incredibly (and I can't stress that incredibly enough) rude. I have had a couple times recently where issues happened on their part. This isn't even about food, one was they had zero soda and another was they didn't flip the board to lunch on time. Each time, the manager was snarky and never even said a hello let alone an apology. Just snapped and asked what we wanted instead then walked away without a word.

The food is hit or miss. The fries are super soggy even for McDonalds. A lot of times it seems they give me the makings of a sandwich but I have to stack it back together into one. If you wanted sauces, check that before you leave. Getting those is a 50-50.

I avoid this location as much as I can, but there is only so much Taco Bell a person can have and the KFC is gross. I used to be a restaurant manager and I feel bad for the employees. They aren't the problem here. They are trying but are not being supported. Hitting metrics isn't proper customer service. I 100% believe it's the owners and managers. I can only hope corporate puts the hasp down...

They did it! I could scarcely believe my eyes when I beheld the miracle this McDonald's was able to perform. They served me a double cheeseburger, nay a masterpiece! The first patty was cooked to the boring old grey color we all know and love but the second patty was this gorgeous pink color. I couldn't believe it, this McDonald's was successful in making the forbidden medium-rare burger. Mmmm~ salmonella. And the boring assortment of vegetables one would have gotten on a regular double cheeseburger were nowhere to be seen. The only vegetable this glorious creation needed...onions. Cronchy. Other than the absolutely magnificent, delicious food they make, this location is also great at getting your order right almost thirty percent of the time! But hey, if this fantastic service isn't for you I'd recommend the McDonald's in Bellevue. (That last part wasn't a joke. Do not eat at Westview...

Horrible. Went here at 8:30pm on 4/2/2025 for just a medium coke and a cheeseburger. Waited half an hour in the parking lot. The kid with glasses forgot my drink and only had the burger when he came out, said he’d come back with my drink, never came back. Had my child in the backseat and we both got impatient. I blared my car horn 5 times and the young girl at the pickup window just looked at me. When I went back in the drive thru to get my drink, that same young girl went to give me a whole different persons order then gave me an attitude when I said I was coming back for my missing drink. I took it from her and rolled my window up and left, didn’t have any words for her after all that mess. THEN when I was finally headed home at 9pm, I went to take a sip of my drink and IT WAS A ROOT BEER. I like root beer so I kept it anyway but still. Very bad, will not return...
