Sam was amazing! She was so helpful and kind and just a great person all around. She really listened to what I wanted and found the perfect dress and I will absolutely add it here after my wedding next year because it's just gorgeous - she was up front with me in regards to if she would be able to have the dress in the future and due to circumstances I had to buy it very quickly.

She was willing to do so much for me, a stranger that just came to her shop and it was like talking to a friend about what I wanted. What I was looking for. I cannot recommend the Magic Moment Bridal Studio more than I am right now.

I will be telling everyone and when I am posting my dress after the event I am at a loss for words to express how I feel. This was the other dress that I tried on.

Sam you are amazing! You are a godsend. You are just the most wonderful person I have ever met from any of my vendors for my wedding and I appreciate you so much and I hope that you get everything in your life that you want and your daughter gets everything in her life that she wants because you are just a breath of fresh air in the wedding industry and I am so appreciative.

I was very nervous about dress shopping. This Magic Moment is where I went for my first and (later) for my last appointment. When comparing This Magic Moment to other shops, they stood out for making it fun and easy, and having the most dresses to choose from. Further, the owners have great taste, in selecting the dresses in the shop and knowing their products extremely well. I had a blast! Time flew!

One of the owners, Lisa, was a godsend and I feel very privileged to have worked with her. She drew such meaningful conclusions from my body language (even with a mask!) and she put intelligent words to my attempts to describe my feelings about each dress. She was also excellent at focusing on my opinions first. She’s been doing this for a long time, has passion for her work, and she ended up being the person who picked the perfect dress (and vail!) off the rack.

Because I waited as long as possible to dress shop, there were some concerns about getting the dress and alterations in time. She had many years of experience with the designer (and even visited their studio), so she was able to get my dress in with a month to spare. Further, she knows all the best alterations people in Pittsburgh, also with decades of experience.

Mashel and Lisa are impeccable at what they do. I’m not much of a “Ive been waiting my whole life for my special day” kind of gal and I’ve been putting off wedding dress shopping out of fear that consultants would be too much for me as far as fawning over things I don’t really care much about. Thankfully Mashel figured me out in seconds and it made the process more than I could have asked for. I had no idea what I wanted in a dress but because I was planning for an elopement in Vegas she tapped into focusing on what would be both practical and beautiful.... Literally, what dress can I hide beer bloat and pass out in comfortably and will travel well by plane.

Both Mashel and Lisa have an eye for determining what features you should highlight. Who knew I had such great shoulders.

The dress selection was wonderful. We went through about 35 dresses (I know it seems like a lot- they were so patient) we narrowed it down to three and although I didn’t walk out with a day that day I have a much better idea of what I’m looking for and what I’m not.

All in all the selection was great, the prices were so reasonable (I was actually shocked at what I could get for under $1,000), and I left feeling 10 times better about my body that I celebrated with a cheese...
