Went here for the first time last night, it’s a nice little tucked away spot with some great food. we started off with the chorizo cheese dip. Highly recommend that, it was delicious. The salsa that comes with the chips was good, more on the mild side and kinda sweet. The chorizo cheese dip was 10/10. I got the house special fried chimichangas, one chicken and one beef. Both were chock full of chunk meat that had good flavor, good size portion, the chicken was good but I think the beef was better. Very well flavored on both of them. my wife got the super chipotle burrito. It was larger then expected, very flavorful and had a good heat to it. We would get both those dishes again. I Tried the mushroom quesadilla and it was a nice pile of sautéed mushrooms in a cheese quesadilla, one tortilla folded in half. Good flavor, well cooked. Think I’ll try the spinach one next time. Ended with churros for something sweet, they had apple filling in them..? They were cooked well, good flavor but we liked them better with the vanilla ice cream they came with. Our waiter was very attentive without being overbearing, kept our drinks full and made sure we didn’t need anything. The interior was very roomy, booth tables are not anchored which I prefer personally as I’m a bigger guy and she likes the table closer to her and the kid so it works out for all of us. Well lit, he got chicken tenders and fries and liked them fine. Only thing I would change is I would tint the front glass and front door. We went in the evening and when people back into spots out front the headlights come through the front of the restaurant pretty good. Either way, it was good food, very decent pricing for the quality food you get in my opinion.. very good service, we will...
Read moreSave your money and your sanity! Went tonight for dinner with friends. The mistake in drinks should have been the first warning I guess. Given a margarita when a daiquiri was ordered. When it was questioned they said they didn't have rum. So I was waiting for them to ask what else I wanted because you can't make a mojito without rum either. Thank goodness the drink mix up wasn't due to an allergy. Food came out and it was fair to good. Then asked for checks and a water. The server then went to take orders and deliver drinks to others and still no water after taking drinks to other tables he helped after the request, even if the checks were to come later. Ask a gentleman, who turned out to be the manager, about getting a water, 20 minutes after original request. He proceeded to look at the drink station for our server and then came back to find him at the bar and still no water, despite 2 opportunities to acquire it himself. Finally got a water that he did bring over. Friend was charged for a margarita which was almost double the original ordered drink price. Manager assured us it was ok and didn't believe us when we showed him the price discrepancy. Our separate checks ended up combined in trying to correct the issue. We finally paid on one bill so we could leave the 10 more minutes fiasco that was paying.
I would not recommend if you are in a rush and if you do take the chance, check your bill. Never again. Take a ride to spring Mills and save...
Read moreWe had a party of 12 on Cinco de Mayo when we were told that it would be 30 minutes until our table was ready. 45 minutes later we were told that the hostess had made a mistake and given our table to someone else and it would be another 30 minutes. We had been waiting a total of an hour and a half when we were told that our table was ready but they didn't have enough chairs. The manager actually had to go and buy folding chairs.
During this time, we had to keep asking for updates as the times they gave us came and went.
They did give us 5 free margaritas, but during the course of the meal we had to ask 3 times for food for our 1-year-old daughter who had now been waiting 2 hours to eat. Then the waitress nearly burned our daughter when she started to set a hot plate down on her hand. Then we had to ask for silverware since we weren't given any. Finally, we had to ask multiple times for to-go boxes after we had paid and were trying to leave.
We understand that it was extremely busy since it was Cinco de Mayo but the overall attitude of the staff through the whole 3 1/2 hours we were there was that they didn't care whether we were there or not. We should have gone elsewhere and plan do do so in the future. We'd recommend others...
