King's Chicken Rotisserie & More — Restaurant in West Virginia

I'm not sure why they have 4.5 stars ,I'm not sure if this was a glitch but I spent over $100 to be disappointed ,the positive is the food was all cooked very well and they were very nice people,but they need to season the food with more than just salt,,everything was sooo salted I could not enjoy anything,plantains and cornbread was the only thing I could eat,I got ,ribs,chicken wings,chicken,yucca fries,cheese stick, rice beans ,plantains and corn bread and even my children that loved salty things was complaining about how much salt..the ribs smelled very raw they need to add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to cut that smell,all I ate was a cornbread and plantains and told the kids have at it or dump it,I was soo disappointed because I've been so looking forward to eating here but not any more first and last time,they need to work on making sure the chicken ,ribs and wings are done with nice seasoning Actually walmart food taste better,this is just over priced walmart food with less flavor.,and for real I never leave reviews, I'm just sad...

1. First time visit. Ordered take-out lunch.
2. Ordered a whole rotisserie chicken with 2 large sides ( mashed potatoes & cole slaw). Included was gravy and corn bread.
3. When I got home all the food was as I had ordered it. Everything was properly cooked. I prefer the corn bread they give you to biscuits. I considered the corn bread among the best I've ever eaten. Dipping sauce for the chicken was also provided. It is also great as a veggie dip.
4. All items were well packaged for transportation--not placed in a big bag that falls over on the way home.
5. The folks working there are attentive to your requests and friendly.
6. For the quality and quantity of food I received, the price was quite reasonable. Very competitive pricing.

This was my third visit, and it has always been very pleasant ☺️ The rotisserie chicken can be ordered whole, half, or quarter, and you get corn bread and two sides. The sides are parsley, garlic potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice & beans, green beans, yucca, plantains, coleslaw, French fries & more! They have salads, sandwiches, subs, and much more! I teally enjoy the white sauce they have which is very unique. It tastes like it has cilantro & other delicious herbs in it. It is great to dip the chicken in! I loved it so much I bought some to take home! The service was always top notch, and we were well taken care of there. The atmosphere is relaxing and has lots of chicken & rooster decor. Be sure to get your photo with the big rooster just out in front of the restaurant...
