I made a usual order of steak#9 NO MUSHROOM. I picked up my order and the bag was labeled correctly. The store was completely dead. The three workers were talking to each other. No other orders were being made.
I got home and gave my child her food. About two minutes later, she is panic stricken, My daughter, ingested mushrooms and swelled up like a balloon.
I have never had a problem at this location in the past three years. This for me and it has never changed.
It was extremely scary situation, not knowing if my daughter was going to go into anaphylactic shock.
This was on Sunday! Not only that I go to the store and none of the employees would tell me who made the sandwich, but they did not give me a refund because none of the employ trained how to do so.
Here we are days later and I still have not received a phone call from the management or received my refund.
Eventually, my wife and I spent eight hours at the Providence Children’s Hospital with our daughter.
I find it extremely unprofessional that it has been OVER 48 hours since the situation and I have yet to be contacted or receive a refund.
My daughter has been traumatized and we had a very difficult night and we both had to take the day off of work Monday and monitor and take care of our child As the hives dissipated ....
Read moreWent to Deangelos this afternoon to pick up a sandwich. I ordered through their "pick up/order online" option which is yes, through post mates. Before I continue, I do understand that they only have access to so much information if you order through post mates, and my order did not come through on their end, which they can't control. I would like to point out I have ordered the same way at the Warwick location, and have had no issues at all. The man at the counter told me that I had to pay again (order already went through on my card and I had multiple ways to verify my confirmation). He didnt seem to care at all, and tried to charge me twice. Did not even attempt to solve the issue, or see my confirmation. He only offered to give me a $4 discount. That's not at all what I cared about. Again, I understand that they can only do so much on their end, but I should not have to pay twice for the same thing ESPECIALLY if I can prove that I paid/ordered this. As Lisa was in the back area working on prep and Nate was preparing orders, Kayleigh greeted me with such a warm, bright, pleasant smile and had great energy! So refreshing in comparison to many places I go to from time to time, where people are so disconnected, detached, on their phones and can truthfully careless about the experience they create for others visiting their place of business or employment. Kayleigh, made me feel welcome immediately and I observed as I ate in the restaurant that she was like that with everyone that came in while I was there. She was graceful and helpful with people that didn’t speak English well and was just so sweet and kind with everyone that encountered her.
