In Person: Strongly recommend that you visit at least 1-2 hours earlier than your usual visit times, as things get busy on weekend evenings. The water is always at room temperature so if you need iced water then you have to ask for it. Food delivery takes time. The waiters are usually the owner's family members so please be courteous and patient. My food took time to be delivered on the table but then they apologized for the delay.
Online: Ordered over the phone on Monday evening. The person took the order correctly. The food was well packed and was waiting even before the collection time. The billing was done accurately. Coming to the food - was expecting below average food which was my experience with this place, couple of years ago. In addition since it was a Monday evening, was expecting average food.
But all items on my order was FRESH except for a sweet corn soup which looked and tasted bad. The remaining items were good enough. The prices were also reasonable.
Overall it is a good restaurant. I'm seeing some bad reviews from others but their situation could have been different.
Anyways, the following things are always expected at Indian restaurants
Main course being delivered before the appetizers Long delays in getting the food served Difficulty in getting the attention of the waiter Difficulty in getting the final bill or check. Luckily these days they have mobile payment so you dont have to wait for the server again. Forgotten serving of dishes
Some of the wait staff are usually students or restaurant owner's family members so they have little experience..
So yes, it is not a bad place to eat or take out...I will visit this place...

I am aware of the fact that there are almost no other indian vegetarian restaurants in this area which is known to have a fairly decent indian population. Also, I am well aware of what an awadhi biryani or a hyderabadi biryani taste like. Fresh food will always taste good. As a regular customer for 4 years this is the first time I've taken to reporting this issue in public. And no- I will not correspond with you privately. I have already given feedback multiple times in person and it hasn't helped. Please look at genuine reviews from other Indians who are giving you feedback about food quality. There is no reason to get defensive. You'll just lose another customer and maybe that does'nt make a difference to you.
OLD: Extremely disappointed with the food quality and what they think they can get away with. The spring rolls were super soggy and tasteless and the biryani was very stale. They must have mixed left over rice with some pre made 5 day old curry mix with soggy vegetables. Quality has been falling and getting worse with each order. Will not be ordering from them anytime soon. I hope they get their act together. It was so bad that I will not be surprised if they have a bunch of code violations. To the owners- please find some motivation to serve your clients with decent food. How are you ok sending stale food out...

The individual at the counter was rude from the get-go. He tried to rush us for placing an order right as we were reviewing options on the menu. This isn’t McDonald’s, let the person review the menu? It’s common courtesy-
One dosa was chewy, other one was burnt. The chais tasted horrible…. Absolutely foul in taste. No water was offered during the wait …. Chai came along with take out order m, despite mentioning we wanted to drink chai in the restaurant. They graced us with three sugar packets for two chais- thank you kindly.
Complete wastage of 43 dollars in return for awful service . I would give -28 for customer experience, however lowest option is one. I was reading the reviews and it seems as if the owner is argumentative towards reviews, it’s not a personal attack, it’s a review. I would view it as constructive feedback to help you improve.
Highly recommend working on customer service skills and quality of food. I understand as humans we might have bad days, but this service was beyond horrible.
