I went to this restaurant for the first time tonight with my mom. I was very excited to try it as we both love Indian Cuisine. We had such an amazing experience from the food to the extremely caring workers. At first we were sat at a regular table and were then offered to sit at a traditional Indian seating. (Pics below!) It was so comfortable and a wonderful first time experience. I highly recommend this seating to those who have never experienced it, as it is traditional Indian seating and is rare to see in the states. The service was extremely well timed and it’s very evident that all of the staff are very attentive to the customers. We had two appetizers Chinese Bhel (Indo-Chinese noodles) and Chili Paratha. I really appreciate that they cut up the paratha, it had a spicy and sweet taste. The Chinese Bhel was very flavorful and had perfect amount of spice. For entrees we shared Dum Ka murgah (chicken curry) and garlic naan bread. The only thing that I would change is that I wish we ate less appetizers because this was one of the best curry’s i’ve ever had. It was so flavorful and the chicken was sooo tender. I do recommend getting rice or bread to go with it! The owners did introduce themselves and kindly checked on us. They are so hospitable and welcoming even complementing sweet mango lassi and Rice Kheer (Rice dessert) 🙂 I did not get a photo of the dessert but it was very light and not too sweet. Overall a must try if you are in the area!!!

I recently visited this new place (or maybe it’s under new management with a new name) while I was in Westborough for a short trip. I went there alone for dinner, and honestly, I was really impressed with the food and ambience. The vibe of the place is cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the veg Manchow soup and a dosa, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The soup had the perfect balance of flavors—warm, slightly spicy, and comforting. The dosa was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavor. The chutneys and sambar that came with it were fresh and complemented the dosa perfectly. The sambar especially had a rich, tangy taste that I really enjoyed. The only downside, and I hope the management takes note of this, was the service. My server seemed more interested in his phone than attending to the customers. He was busy calling, browsing, and not really paying attention to the tables. It took me around 10-15 minutes just to get his attention when I needed some more sambar. That was a bit frustrating, especially since the place wasn’t even too crowded. That being said, the food totally made up for it. I’d definitely go back for the amazing taste and lovely atmosphere. Hopefully, the service improves because this place has great potential. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area and craving some tasty Indian food!

I recently visited this restaurant with my family for a Saturday lunch, and while the interior was quite nice and we were seated promptly with no wait time, the overall experience left much to be desired. Our orders were taken quickly, but when the food arrived, it came out in stages, which disrupted the dining experience. The butter chicken and roti arrived first, but it took a long 20 minutes for the Gujarati thali to arrive. My husband ordered another one, which took an additional 20-30 minutes to come out, meaning we weren’t able to enjoy the meal together as a family. The Gujarati thali, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations. It was clear it wasn’t prepared by someone familiar with authentic Gujarati cuisine. The dhokla was hard, the kathol was overly sweet, and even though it was supposed to be an unlimited thali, the roti refills were incredibly slow. We waited a long time for them and by the end of the meal, we had just given up on getting more. On top of that, the price of the thali was on the higher side, making the experience feel even more disappointing considering the quality and service. Overall, the service was poor in terms of timing, and the food didn’t live up to the expectations for what it was supposed to be. It wasn’t the enjoyable, family-style meal we were hoping for, especially at that price point.

Poor service, dismissive attitude, and false accusations — a truly disappointing experience.

I rarely leave public reviews, but after the restaurant’s repeated attempts to twist facts and deflect responsibility, I feel compelled to clarify what actually happened.

During my visit, I made a simple, courteous request — one that was met not with hospitality, but with rigid refusal and an unwelcoming tone. It wasn’t about “policies” — it was about how the staff and owners handled the situation: with defensiveness and zero effort to make a guest feel heard.

I left after the appetizer, not because of a policy, but because of the staff’s condescending behavior and complete lack of customer sensitivity. That’s what ruined the experience.

What’s worse, the restaurant has now gone on record, making a completely false claim that I asked for a discount. That is categorically untrue. In fact, they themselves advertise a 10% discount for cash payments. So why would I need to ask? Accusing a customer of something that never happened is not only dishonest — it’s highly unprofessional.

The owners claimed they were present and “made every effort” — another half-truth. They were indeed present, but did nothing to resolve the matter when I raised it. Instead, they’ve chosen to hide behind lengthy, patronizing responses to defend unacceptable behavior.

A good restaurant is not defined just by food or decor, but by how it treats its guests, especially in moments that require grace and maturity. Unfortunately, Mitti Chulha failed badly on both counts.

I do not recommend this place, and I sincerely hope they focus less on writing rehearsed rebuttals and more on improving how they engage...

We have been regular customers and have always enjoyed coming in with our family, often bringing along our little puppy. In the past, the staff has been very cordial and welcoming, which is one of the reasons we kept returning and even celebrated special occasions and parties here. However, during our most recent visit, we had a disappointing experience. Another staff member had already offered us a table for four, and we were about to be seated when a mid-aged gentleman (bald, dressed in black) came over and interrupted ” He asked whether our puppy was a service dog. We honestly responded “no” and explained that we’ve brought her many times before without issue. He then mentioned he would seat us in a corner but added a remark that felt quite offensive—that if our dog barked, we would be asked to leave after simply paying the bill. This left us with the impression that we might be forced to leave in the middle of our dinner, which was upsetting and made us feel unwelcome. We have always loved this place and recommended it to others, but this experience was disheartening and not in line with the warmth and hospitality we have previously known here. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as we truly value your restaurant and would love to continue being loyal patrons provided we continue to feel the same respect and hospitality we once...
