Oh so very slow.

I ordered and paid online thinking that would expedite things as I have had issues in the past with the speed at this place but I was wrong. I placed the order for pickup at 12:45 and it said it would take 40 minutes, I thought that was long but since I knew ahead of time I was OK with that. I got there 10 minutes after the pick up time as two guys walked in right in front of me. They just wanted some already made slices of pizza and while the first guy was ordering another waitress came over and asked if anyone called in, I said I did and she asked for the name it was placed under so I gave it to her and then she went out back to seemingly get my order but I never saw her again. Then it took the waitress 10 minutes to ring up 2 slices of pizza and a soda for each of the guys, asked if I was picking up anything again I said yes, she walked out back and came out with it right away. Then they didnt have the drink I ordered so I got something else. When I get back to work to eat my sandwich the bread was cut into 4 slices on top but only 2 pieces on bottom so I picked up my sandwich and of course most of the contents fell out. Thankfully it landed in the takeout box I had but still very frustrating and messy.

Its a shame the service is so poor because the food is tasty but I have given them...

On a Friday evening, the restaurant was less than half full. The restaurant across the street had a wait line. That should have been our first clue. After standing in the entrance being ignored for a while, we were told we could sit anywhere we'd like. Once seated we asked for waters. Fifteen minutes later, our waters were brought out. Again, the restaurant was not that busy. Our beers were not delivered until our food came out. My water refill showed up with the tab.

Everything on the menu sounded delicious. The food turned out to be better in concept than application. The baked potato fries: the cheese they used clumped together and all the other ingredients were trapped within. The only thing it didn't cling to were the actual fries. Therefore, you had to choose between dipping your plain fries or your clump of cheese in the sour cream dip. The margherita pizza was soggy, even though it's a thin crust and the crust was slightly charred around the edges. Also, the entire topping was pulled off each slice with the first bite. The chicken and meatball pizza was extremely bland. The small craft beer menu only contained IPA selections. Other craft beer styles exist.

To be fair, the prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were good. We still won't...

We ordered while at work for lunch at 11:26am (time stamp on receipt). Ordered gluten free sandwich & 16" pepperoni pizza. Took my credit card info over the phone & was told 45 min to 1 hr. Delivery arrived at 12:42- so over an hour wait, pizza had no pepperoni on it & the delivery driver thought I was paying in cash because they were having problems with their computer. Called them back to inquire with a manager about no pepperoni & was my card info run yet. A male got on the phone & I told him the above & he wanted to "comp" me with another pizza or a gift card......I stated "how about you the comp the whole order? "($35.08). So he said ,"I'll go get my general manager"- isn't this what I asked for originally? So she gets on phone & I state the above & all she can do is send a gift card or a new pizza? What makes them think I want another pizza after how the screwed up the order to begin with? Her response was "over the wrong pizza?'. Yes lady "over the wrong pizza" She apparently has no customer service experience what so ever. Stay away from the Westbrook Pizza Pie Company- BTW the pizza we did get was not that good to begin with. In the end no charge for the order but I will never...
