Riverbank Park — Attraction in Westbrook

I'm not a fan of this place because they stopped the feeding of ducks and they are trying to turn a small little river that flows through a small town into this amusement park where you can take paddle boards and kayak's. Riddle me this, who is going to want to take a paddle board down a nasty river right next to a big smoke stack (Sappi Paper)...? Not me Plus not feeding the ducks is kinda mean, ever since I was little that's what I'd do. The concerts they throw are decent but it's not worth the police harrassment. That's where every Westbrook cop goes to...

It's really an ok place. That's it though. Ok. Really depends on what day you go what your gonna get though. Most of the time the kids and parents are really nice but there are other parents that come with kids and it's just sad the way they do their kids and don't care. I could probably say more but I'll leave it at my 3 star rating. My daughter over all enjoys the park and we really like when they do music and festivals and the fair..... If i could give that part 4 stars...

Nice park with a variety of things to do for children and adults. Everything from traditional playground equipment to walking trails and monuments. Busy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with parking stretched to near limits. Lots of people enjoying a walk by themselves or with their dogs. Sounds of children everywhere!
