I came to go skimboarding at East Beach and thought it'd be good to grab a sandwich here. I didn't expect anything special. I got a basic turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and white bread. 11.99. You can't mess that up right?
Holy f** * was I wrong. The turkey was oddly rigid and clearly old, smelled weird. The lettuce was piled up way too high on the bottom (???) of the bread, the tomato was almost nonexistent. The bread itself was soggy, wet, and cold, untoasted, and despite its absolutely sordid condition, had the wonderful quality of being stale and soggy at the same time. Brilliant work. It fell apart the moment I unwrapped it.
I could've made a better sandwich in my dorm with dining hall bread and another piece of bread in the middle.
The only reason I didn't walk back and request a refund or remake was because I had parked up the hill and didn't wanna waste their time because I think any place of such pathetic quality is also not going to give you a refund if you ask politely.
I'm a college student who works two full time jobs just to survive, 7 days a week. This was my first day off since the Spring semester ended in early May. I got some banging ice cream from St Clair's Annex after so the experience was not ruined but this "sandwich" was so profoundly atrocious, so appallingly sad, it stood to derail what fun I had. And for 11.99? Dystopian tbh
Service was friendly.
Atmosphere was oppressively cramped and...

One day was during the week and the other was this past Sunday. If you close on labor day you should state so right with your hours. When my husband spoke to you, you merely said you were closed. You did not say you were closed for the season. We found this very discouraging! We also wasted a lot of gas on those two trips. We love your sandwiches but didn't appreciate our...
Read moreWas not even a customer of this deli and had a bad experience. Early in the morning and not many people in watch hill yet, and I wanted to take a seat at a table in front of the deli and drink my coffee. Was immediately yelled at to not sit at the table (most likely because I did not purchase anything from the deli). That experience alone made me never want to be a customer of that establishment. The man in that deli needs to learn how to be...
