Fox in the Snow Cafe — Restaurant in Westerville

I love the Fox in the Snows around the city, so I had to give this one a try as well! I was super excited to see the new space, it was beautiful! But the flow of the cafe definitely still needs some work. We ordered 3 pastries with an employee a few people away from the register (which were delicious as always!), but then to my surprise, she asked for my drink orders too, without being at a computer. We then waited for the 3 people in front of me to check out, then the employee repeated my order incorrectly to the cashier. I made sure to correct them by saying my original drink order again. But unfortunately, my hot latte was lukewarm, and my partners latte had to get remade 3 times, and they still got the milk wrong the last time, and we ended up just taking it since we had waited so long. I am only writing this review so because I love Fox in the Snow and I want this location to succeed, but they definitely need some time perfecting their work...

First time to any of the Fox in the Snow locations (although I did used to frequent Icarus), and I don't think I'll ever be back.

I ordered the Ham Baguette, thinking it was the one I saw behind the counter with arugula and tomato (when ordering you only see the one style of baguette, as the ham ones are nearer to the register). When I got to my table, I realized it was just the bun, sliced ham, white cheddar and mayo(?). I went back up the counter to request just a little bit of sliced tomato and some greens. I was told that they could not help me out and that the produce was only available for the other baguette.

I understand that I messed up originally, but their menu display doesn't list anything other than the title and price, and the baguettes aren't displayed in a manner that doesn't make comparison or identification easy.

For a $12+ sandwich, they could have provided ~$.50...

Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent! Staff was knowledgable, friendly and very prepared for the crowd! I have never experienced a grand opening that ran as smooth as theirs did! We got the Egg Sandwich and several pasteries and everything was delicious! Pastry was buttery and flaky and the egg sandwiches were delivered hot to our table and were to die for! I got a Vanilla Latte with oat milk and my mom got a cappuccino and both were strong and delicious! No burnt expresso here! SO excited to finally have a Fox in the Snow Cafe in Westerville! It will be a regular...
