The Governors Cigar Lounge — Local services in Westerville

Governor's is conviently located which is nice. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere but truth be told sometimes it is a bit too relaxed. When I go to a place to buy and smoke cigars or pipes I expect decent air handlers. Their air isn't anywhere near as bad as Tinderbox at Easton, but still. I would probably go a bit more often if the air handlers cleared a bigger volume more quickly. Their selection I would say is ok to average, but their prices are fair for what they stock. It would be nice if they had a few less different brands and a few more lines in each brand giving smokers a different variety. They have coffee, water, and pop which is also nice and not all places have that. If you want a less formal place to go and smoke a cigar with friends it's not bad, but be forewarned, if you bring your own and don't buy one there, their cutting fee is pretty high, at...

This establishment was recommended by a friend, being that I'm podcaster who reviews lounges and cigars the staff was very unwelcoming. I had just came from another lounge and I had cigars with me. Most establishments would like for you to purchase from them before just lighting up and I have no problem with that. I wasn't in the humidor 2 minutes before the staff member nervously came in asking what particular brand I was looking for. I mentioned the brand, which they didn't have and neither did he suggests any. I don't know maybe they've been robbed a few times. The area and the neighborhood seemed nice I even stopped at a few eateries before going in.
