WOW!! This place is tiny (maybe 40 guests max) but made an enormous impact on us! There was ONE person cooking, ONE server, and ONE dishwasher, and all three of them worked their butts off continuously when we went there on a Saturday night. Lots of signs reminding guests that they're very tiny so the food might take a little longer than expected, and it was good to set expectations like that in advance. However, we didn't think the food took all that long. Our drinks took the longest because we were difficult and ordered homemade ginger ale and Thai ice tea, which we only realized afterwards this poor server had to stop and make for us. We were lucky to get a table right away, and appetizers came out perfectly paced. Our server was intense but deeply courteous.
Let's talk about the food, though. The food! SCRUMPTIOUS. Everything was as fresh as could be, not a single item or ingredient tasted frozen or canned, everything was super flavorful. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a curry so flavorful and satisfying! The vegetables were the same in each dish - I suppose that cuts down on inventory and waste in such a small place - yet each dish tasted completely unique and distinctive due to the freshness and care of the curry and seasonings. I ordered grilled scallops (cooked to perfection) and my husband ordered twice-cooked pork, and we savored every single bite slowly. I never wanted it to end!
Fantastic place. I almost want to tell people to not go here because I'm sure once everyone discovers this gem, it'll be booked forever and then we'll never be able to experience it again. But this restaurant deserves all the love.
The prices were a tad high, but they absolutely work for every single penny. Whoever is in the kitchen - and I assume it's the owner - is a...
Read moreThis will definitely be my first and LAST time coming to this restaurant, I dont usually like to leave reviews but the customer service and food from this resturaunt was so bad I had to. I came here last night with my friend to order their calamari and Pad thai. When we got home to wat the pad thai was incredibly dry and my friend said it was the worst pad thai he had ever had, the calamari didnt taste well also and we ended up spending $30 on food we barely had touched. Unfortunately because they were closed by the time we came in we couldnt go back that night to return so I called in the morning as soon as they opened.
When I spoke to the lady who worked their about my food she insisted that there was nothing wrong with it, and that they make hundreds of these orders and never get complaints, which I find hard to believe. And she basically told me there was nothing wrong with my food after I insisted that in was inedible. When I asked to speak to someone else she refused and she hung up on me twice. When I called back I asked her to at least refund me for the pad thai and we would just take the loss with the calamari she still refused, and when I asked if there was any solution to this problem that I had with the food she didnt offer any and I was basically told to just deal with it.
Theres much better thai places in Columbus to go to I'm sure that probably cost a lot less than their food, so I would HIGHLY reccommend going there before even stopping here. This was a complete waste of money for food I...
Read more4.0 Stars 🌟 First-time diner with a takeout order on a Saturday afternoon. The location is at the corner of Rte 3 and College. The (assumed) owner was professionally dressed as a chef and she was very pleasant to speak to. We didn't dine in but it looked like a nice cozy dining area on the smaller side but comfortable. The food was very good. Not perfect but very good! The spring rolls had too much rice paper so they were very dry and didn't travel well although the supplied dipping sauce was sweet and delicious and helped. The chicken Satay was well seasoned with a nice peanut sauce. My young son enjoyed. The Thai Fried Rice was good. The veggies could've been cut a little smaller as we've seen with the entrees i.e. the sweet potatoes were a large piece that was a bit of a chore to eat as it is a little mushy/soft but still very tasty. The Pad Thai we ordered with chicken had a nice smokey flavored from the chicken. The dish was a little overcooked so a little dry but the flavor made up for it. I'd prefer a little "wetter" Pad Thai. But still a good meal. The Beef Curry was good (again not great) as the sauce was thick and savory but the beef was a little tough to chew and swallow. Our absolute favorite was the Panang Curry with Chicken. The yellow Curry sauce we all loved. This will be our go to meal from now on as it was delicious! All the entrees were a little light on the protein for what we paid. Again, overall very good (not great) but a solid 4 Stars! We...
