Both young ladies working drive through taking orders and working the front window giving the orders out was very polite. When I got to the front window waiting on my order, I was givin the drink for my order and offered a dog bowl of ice cream for my dog that I had with me. Didnt know they done that, so it was a nice surprise and my dog loved the ice cream treat. It was a nice surprise to be offered that as not many places do this for dog's. I had spaced when I ordered to ask for small cup of water for my dog since was was from about 40 min north. If I knew the ladies first names I'd post them so hopefully they would get recognition for their service. I worked in fast food 2 times and only 1 time I had to deal with a upset customer and it wasn't my fault as they ordered wrong as I even confirmed what they wanted and they said yes. What made it more aggravating was I had came back to work later that day for my paycheck and the customer happened to be there complaining about the mess up, and my manager pointed them to me for me to deal with OFF THE CLOCK AND I WASN'T EVEN MANAGEMENT! This Dairy Queen has brought me immense joy since moving here. I bought two cakes here back in 2021 after hearing about Diana’s cakes on the news in 2020! They were so detailed! I moved to away for 2 1/2 years and I always thought about these cakes whenever a birthday approached. We had many sad looking cakes at our local DQ in AZ so when I moved back this spring I couldn’t wait for the first birthday to place an order. I’ve ordered 3 since June and each cake was even better than I anticipated. It seems so minor, but when you want a custom cake but also want an ice cream cake it’s hard to find this anywhere else. Diana is a gem to DQ!! I ordered a cat/tea cup themed cake for my niece, a succulent cake for a friend, & last night we picked up a cake I ordered for my husband, I requested a Porsche 992 GT3 RS, and she delivered! I’ve been really disappointed with this location. The last time my wife ordered for her and myself, she got home and it was the wrong kind of Blizzard. Not what she ordered. On more than one occasion they are adamant, and borderline rude when it comes to using the Westfield discount card. There are “no exceptions” first time this happened, I had to drive away. Then I started bringing my card. Then without warning, “you have to have a key ring card” I stated I’ve ordered ten times with my Westfield card. “Well whoever did that was wrong”. Not good customer service in giving a warning, or apologizing for taking the card before and suddenly needing the key ring. Just flat out rudeness. So Culver’s it is!
