I used to serve tables full-time, and I typically have quite a bit of lenience when it comes to service. Everyone goes through training. Everyone has bad days. But this was the absolute worst service I have ever had--and from multiple employees. Yes, COVID precautions and decreased staffing changes things. This was not related to those changes. This was purely a service problem. With no host on (understandable), we waited patiently for a server to finish slowly cashing out other tables before seating us. She wasn't friendly during that time. After seating us, we waited and waited. There were two tables that had left and three other tables seated. It should have been a piece of cake to manage these tables. Server A moped around her tables with zero urgency. I've never seen a server move so slow. And she avoided coming back to us. No apologies. No explanation. No offer to grab drinks while we waited. We almost left. But then the bartender showed up, apologized for the wait, and took our orders. Though it was not particularly good, our orders were quick getting out to us. We were never offered refills. Upon finishing our lunches, which didn't take long, we stacked our dishes efficiently at the end of the table. The bartender was on top of service with the two guests at the rail but wasn't coming back to us. While we were waiting for our checks and hoping to catch someone's eye, Server A was moving as slow as physically possible, carrying one thing at a time to other tables, and very obviously avoided eye contact with us. Lest we request our checks or expect that she might take the dishes. She did this MULTIPLE times--while clearing another table and dropping off a single salad and bringing a refill for another table. Those were all separate trips, mind you. Heaven forbid she multi-task or move efficiently or do something for a table that isn't officially "hers." I eventually went up to the bar to ask to pay, where the bartender didn't remember that I was from her one two-top table or where we were sitting or what we ordered. I paid at the counter, and finally after an hour an half (most of which was spent waiting), we left. I'd like to be clear here that I'm not complaining about simple mistakes--like not splitting our check correctly--or the disappointing food--which had not been lightly sauced as requested. This is a complaint pertaining to the lack of service beginning to end. Those employees and their manager should be thoroughly...
Read moreThis is the worst of all of the Noble Roman’s. I’m 40 and have been a faithful customer since I’ve been a kid and regularly went to the one on 10th street in Indianapolis, but I live up north now. I live about 30 minutes north of the Westfield location and went there and got a large one topping and breadsticks. I called and placed my order over the phone for a half sausage, half pepperoni pizza, which they said was no problem. They keyed it in wrong, apparently, and this is what I got. They said since it was made ‘correctly’, aka the way they typed it in, even though it wasn’t what I ordered, that they couldn’t remake the pizza. The sauce was all warped and open and spilled all over everything, too. Just gross and frustrating. Gave it to my dog, a Great Pyrenees. I’ve been going in to that location for a long time and they often mess up and I don’t say anything and the one time I call and say something and want the pizza fixed, they won’t. I specifically went out of my way to go there and get it and bring it back to my kids who have autism and sensory issues and it frustrates me when things are wrong and then there is terrible customer service to back it up. I would have disputed it on my card, honestly, but I paid cash-so I’ll just review it and not go back and give them any more of my money. The assistant manager was the one who spoke to me about it and said the general manager wouldn’t be available for at least two weeks. We went to Greek’s the same day in Westfield and got great service and much better food! Don’t waste your time or money at this...
Read moreMy husband and i didn’t feel like cooking so we decided to finally try Nobles Romans Craft and called in an order for carry out. We are highly disappointed. Who ever took are our order over the phone was very brief and unfriendly. My husband pick up our order and he stated the women who gave him the food was unfriendly and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. They did no go through the order with him. I had my sauce on the side which it was on the side in a small take out container that leaked all over everything else in the bag. Anything with sauce on side you would think a seal container would be use, that is helpful for travel. My husband got Great Balls of fire which is listed under pasta but doesn’t come with pasta which is miss leading. Food was luke warm and we live about a 5 minute drive from location. The meatballs were the worst I have even had. Great Ball of Fire were meatballs and Marinara with lots of red pepper. It all lacked flavor. I call and spoke to a manager because we thought pasta was missing from our order of Great Balls of Fire but we were informed that it doesn’t come with any. The manger was extremely kind and refunded us 20% which I didn’t expect. I just wanted to make her aware so hopefully this like this won’t happen to the next. I don’t know if we will return. Maybe we should have stuck to the pizza. But if the same marinara is used on the pizza then we won’t be back for sure. I like to support the businesses in our community but you need quality to make...
