As a longtime customer of the Ralphs Franchise, it was disheartening to experience such poor customer service from the manager or owner (I'm not sure which she is) at the Westfield location. Specifically, I was disappointed that I was unable to get more than two flavors in my pint container. I have never had an issue with this in the past, and I don't believe that the flavors should affect the amount of scoops I receive. While I understood that this may have been a her policy, the manager's response was extremely rude and unaccommodating. To make matters worse, she continued to talk about me to employees in a condescending manner while I was still in the store. This behavior was completely unacceptable and made me feel disrespected as a customer. I had ordered from Westfield's Ralphs a week prior to this incident without any issues, so this recent experience was particularly surprising and disappointing. I have not returned to that location since. I strongly believe that the manager in question needs customer service training, as her behavior was deplorable.    Read moreI went in to order an ice cream that I got last time I was there and was told it couldnât be made that way and when I had asked if there was any way it can be made the way I want they said no, well not they specifically they, CATHY. She was very rude and sarcastic laughing as she was explaining it to me. I told her to give me a minute to decide and she can take the next customer she whispered into one of the other workers there like a teenager and then continued to take the next persons order. I saw the other worker look at me awkwardly and just walk away from his station. As an older women do better Cathy. With that I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere.    Read moreSo here's the thing about ice cream places for me - if you are popular because you are good, one of the only places in town, have limited inside space to slowly serve customers based on your business model, or whatever - if all I can recall is your team leader loudly (but gently) reminding everyone to PLEASE KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED, I'm not going for more than 3 stars. I understand it's for the bugs and the temp (not really IMHO, based on where your freezer is and your closed ice cream cabinets). Get an air curtain above the door. And a blue light zapper.
