AJ's Urban Grill — Restaurant in Westlake

Edit: It's upsetting that I have to change my review for my former #1 restaurant. Recently a year or 2 ago, I heard all the cooks quit and they had a new staff. They no longer sell my favorite sandwich of all time and the food quality has shot down. I wish I knew where the cooks went so I could follow them. Overall the atmosphere and waiting staff haven't changed from being great but I haven't been back more than 2-3 times since a staff member told me the cooks all walked out. I had asked about my sandwich missing from the menu and that's when I was told. The overall quality of everything was very subpar each time I ordered since, so with that I will just fondly remember what once was the best hidden gem restaurant and maybe one day this will come back to how amazing it was.

Literally the best restaurant I've ever been to. High praise right? Well I mean it. Service is always fantastic and I really dig the atmosphere in there. Last but not least the food has always been nothing short of amazing. I always get the Chicken on ciabatta but subbed for pretzel bun. My mouth is watering just thinking about how delicious it is. I cannot say enough about AJs. On Valentine's Day our group of 16 ladies were stranded when our reservation at another restuarant was cancelled. I called AJs hoping that they might be able to seat us in their party room. The room was reserved but they graciously offered to seat the group in the restuarant. I was asked to call ahead before we were due to arrive to confirm. Their concern was that we would get good service and not have to wait. When we arrived we ushered right to the party room. It turned out not to be reserved. The fee was waived. We were told to order from the menu and "just enjoy our lunch."
