This place has some pros and cons, the uniqueness and food give it a positive rating but there is definitely room for improvement
-Food: the mochi donuts are super good, very unique kind of donut that has a nice outer shell while having a soft chewy inside. It's really delicious in the different flavors I tried and makes it worth a visit. I also had the half and half cheese/hot dog, it was great. Real crunchy outside and gooey cheesy goodness on the inside with the hotdog as well, it was made real well. I will say I arrived 2 hours before close and they were out of all flavors but 3 which was super disappointing. They need to plan better than that, I'd advise going early in the day to make sure you have flavor options.
-Service: The staff was all very impersonable it felt like they were at their first job or just didn't care. No greeting when walking up to the register and when getting food no simple "have a nice day" or anything. Staff all kept to themselves in the back mostly. When asked questions about things the guy taking the order acted like we were dumb or bothering him, dude should not be customer facing with the way he is.
-Atmosphere/inside: a lot of white on the inside, almost feels doctor office to me but the one wall has a cool flower and neon light backdrop, perfect for pics. I think I would add warm colors in here to make it more inviting, a lot of empty walls and space. Tables were a bit sparse, I thought there for sure could be more seating. I also didn't like that they don't have a table for utensils and condiments and stuff. When asking for another spoon the staff member had to go into the back and took awhile to even find one lol.. Atmosphere here really had a chaotic feeling to it. Because of the emptiness in the place it was a bit echoey and pretty loud.
Bottom line: This place is super unique and worth a visit for sure. They need to retrain staff and make some adjustments in the front. They need to adjust the decor and seating in my opinion. Also on a Saturday you should have all flavors for the entire day. But like I said the food was all great and that's obviously the biggest part about...
Read moreI was excited to try this place out however, the service was beyond terrible. The cashier was rude with me for not knowing the correct flavors of the donuts. This was my first time so I'm not sure how I was supposed to know them?? The wait times were incredibly long. I waited over 25 minutes for 2 corn dogs. The sign signified a 10 minute wait when I walked in. The cashier was also the only employee in the front. At least 4 other employees were in the back and could be heard loudly having a good time and did not help her though it was busy. I had to ask if my food was ready or not because the girl called my number and I only recieved drinks. Shortly after asking another employee came from the back room with about 10 boxes full of corn dogs. I do not understand why the orders were not being passed out as they were ready. Instead choosing to do 10 corn dogs and bring them out when all 10 are done lengthens wait times. By the time I did recieve them the ice in my drinks was melted and they didn't look as nice as they originally had. No manager was in sight and I wasnt given a bag, so I had to carry 2 boxes, 2 drinks, 2 straws and 2 sauces out. I am a restaurant manager so I try to be gracious and I understand the struggle. However this was really bad and there appeared to be enough employees for it not to be bad. I understand it is more cost effective to have teenagers running all positions, but at the very least having a manager on the floor to keep the service efficient may have greatly helped. Especially for the price. 30 dollars to wait almost 30 minutes for 2 corn dogs is not worth it. This restaurant is a great concept with...
Read moreTo preface, I don't ever go out of my way to write negative reviews. I can usually just accept my experience and move on because most of the time--it is what is. However, I'm a little irritated by this experience and wanted to share. My partner and I drove over an hour to come to this place. Korean corndogs are very trendy, the place seemed cute and fun online. When we came in, it was empty and no service members were there. I went to the bathroom and it was just gross. There was an overflowing trash can with paper towels on the floor and a dirty sink with hairs in it. It grossed me out. I joined my partner in line and we waited a little longer before we were served. Our order was not correct, but that is just human error and I didn't hold it against anyone, but we wanted to make sure our orders were correct and we got what we came for. My partner dealt with correcting the order and the girl working was very short with them and got her manager who was more friendly and willing to help. When we got our food my partner said this same girl was rude when she gave them our milk teas. Overall, the food was average, the milk tea was overly sweet, and the exchange with the girl at the counter and the bathroom left a bad taste in our mouths. My partner wasn't rude, just confused about what went wrong when ordering and wanted to correct it and I think it was just her misunderstanding what my partner was trying to correct. Either way, making such a drive to what we anticipated being a cool, fun little shop with good food turned into an average, kind of gross and weird experience. It was a huge let down and we definitely...
